yeah… i can’t do them very often. they really tear up my biceps and forearms… and not in a good way. one of our training partners wanted to do them.
I know I’m a weak sister here, but pullover tricep extensions are pretty easy on the elbows while still being hard on the triceps in a good way. Don’t know if they’re practical w/ 225 however. Prob’ly flip a skinny guy like you right off the bench.
rolling dumbell extensions are definitely in my rotation.

I don’t remember your stance being that narrow, is that to protect your IT bands?

it was pretty easy. i’ve found that the narrow stance allows me to use more quads out of the bottom. it also sort of puts my hips in a bind and hard to get down creating a good bit of pop off the floor.

Makes sense. Can you get comfortable that narrow or do you just grind through it being uncomfortable knowing your going to get more pop off the floor?

Hey Big Meat!

You look like you’re leaning out a bit, brother!

Still strong as MOOSE!

because of the bind in the hips it’s harder to get to the bar but once i’m there it flys off the floor. i wouldn’t call it uncomfortable though.

i didn’t even notice the other group was doing boards as well. i go into my own little world when i train.

Are you letting the bar sink into your chest now? And if so, how hard was it to get the hang of it?

Maybe you been doing it a while…just never noticed.

yep… i saw a video of jeremy hornstra benching and i thought i would give it a try. i used it in my last bench meet and everything i attempted felt very light and explosive. it was very easy to get used to.

i’ve been dropping weight like a madman lately and have been a bit worried that it will affect my strength. Then it hit me… what could i do to counteract the negative affects of losing bodyfat??

grow and awesome beard.

i figure the more bodyfat i lose, the longer the beard will have to be to keep getting stronger.

sounds like a very scientific and sound plan to me.

here’s where i am now…

In beard, there is strength.
