Absolutely… I’m giving thought to really prioritizing Triceps first and foremost, lat width and probably rear delts at this point. Not totally sure, but I know the triceps have a LOT of work to do. And thanks man! Lats are a semi-dec from genetics, but I’ve busted my ass for the legs, lol. I store leg fat pretty bad so I’m excited to see them more cut up.

As I kinda mentioned above, lats are sort of a decently-gifted body part. They actually use to be a lot better, no foolsies, about two years ago when I was able to rack pull and deadlift semi-decent weights. I use to use a lot sloppier form on width exercises, so I think I’m going to re-introduce that some to get some width back upcoming. But yeah, IDK man, lats have actually been really on the back burner for some time now, as bad as that sounds. And thanks! I do love a cool v-taper… but after the surgery is done I’m shooting for an X-frame! :wink:

Pretty solid day. Went with some unconventional exercises on biceps just because, and kept triceps with basically what I use to do.

Last night I got incredibly high and ate some of my moms’ home made pizza and maximized a bunch of cookies. Fucking die.

This morning I ran 3 miles (fasted sans a 2-scoop HumaPro shake) in about 23 minutes… so I was going at a damn good pace (for me.) I’m cool with it!

Kinda spent AGES pouring through the progress since I last checked up on this log (I should be doing essays). Awesome work. I know it’s been said but arms are very legit and quads look solid. Your newest lat spread is impressive progress/looking fairly lean!

So, I’m just bored out of my mind here. I genuinely miss Colorado. I have dates I can be going on, Red Rocks to be running. Whatever, it’s so blah and meh here, it’s almost depressing.

My dad and I were talking, and he really doesn’t think I can get to 195-190 “as long as I lift weights.” It’s really tough to make a distinction, though, because there’s some fat, some loose skin, and just a bad situation all around. I can’t wait to start getting some accurate assessments by cosmetic surgeons within a few months.

That being said about boredom, I decided to hit chest and triceps some, even though it’d be a lame session. I have accepted the fact that at this point the diet has mostly won the battle for strength retention. It’s really only pressing stuff that has declined somewhat substantially, but it’s disappointing nonetheless. Still, have to think long-term about this.

Also, effective today I will be training triceps some after almost all chest sessions. It’s come to my attention from recent pictures that my triceps need a lot of attention to make up for some loose skin, especially on front/rear double bi shots.

I ate at Red Lobster tonight with the parents and some family friends. I kept it conservative… having,

1.) A good portion of the breaded calamari/broccoli appetizer, with some marinara
2.) Three cheddar biscuits. That is SERIOUS restraint, there.
3.) One probably 6-8 oz steak, little bit of A1. Two orders of grilled shrimp, and two orders of broccoli.

So, not too bad at all really. Just water instead of beer or drinks.

I came back and did sprints, since I’ve been so unable to do legs lately. They went well; I did 8 total at about 60-70 yards or so.

On a not-so-positive note, I may be taking it fairly easy tomorrow night. Shit’s really fucking boring around here and it’d be rather unwise to have a TERRIBLE drive back to Colorado with a hangover or having a “weird” hangover… ahem.

Lol, yeah man, let’s do it. 2011 was good but it wasn’t shit compared to what’s about to go down!

That being said, before I continue about actual relevant training stuff, I got the ax of doom from the girl I was hanging with for a while. Not really a big deal as I had basically only lamented on the situation but primarily moved on, but I did inadvertently get strung along in a way that’s too complicated to explain here but kind of shitty nonetheless. Anyway, it’s not the answer I had hoped for but the one I had expected, and it helps to put a “fin” on things mentally.

So, that means I’ll pretty much have to go out at least one night a week on the prowl, drinking anywhere from moderate to heavy, haha. There’s a couple girls I know who I’m not too stellar about but it certainly beats the alternative IMO.


Pretty crazy being back in Denver. Crazy as in amazing, of course. Took a walk today with one of the roomies today and I was getting slightly winded just talking to her and walking, it was crazy. The body adapts to high/low fast. Also, I’m fat as fuck. I weighed in at like 221 when I got home today… but I had had a lot of water at that point, so meh. We’ll see tomorrow I guess.

Shoulder days are really cut and dry right now, but I’m just killing them will volume as they’ve become a priority and I’m quite enjoying them.
