An upper/lower 3 days Thread!

How many of you are currently (or have been) running an upper/lower 3 days split? How has it been working for you? How do you structure ir? Feel free to share any thoughts on it.

For me, I’ve found that there’s no need to have separate Upper A and B days, or Lower A and B days. Instead, rotating one upper day and one lower day (and maybe just change the exercise orde) seems to work great for me.

Thought right now I’m following a more traditional rotating upper/lower split Ive also found that a 2 upper days and 1 lower day setup can work well.

Week 1:

  • Monday - Upper
  • Wednesday - Lower
  • Friday - Upper

Week 2:

  • Monday - Lower
  • Wednesday - Upper
  • Friday - Lower

Upper Body Day (A / B)

  • Incline Press / OHP
  • Row / Pullups
  • OHP / Incline Press
  • Pullups / Row
  • Biceps / triceps
  • Rear / Side delts

Lower Body Day

  • Squat
  • RDL
  • BSS
  • Leg Curl
  • Stepups
