Hey everyone just got back from the last day of the American Open. Let me tell I am glad I got to finally go today. To start with a girl(Naomi Elliot) from the gym I train at won the 75+kg Clean and Jerk and the overall on the last lift of the comp. A very exciting thing to see was Peter Kelly setting the American record for snatch in the 105kg with a 170.5kg lift. Also had the opportunity to see some juniors at 95 go after some junior national records. Overall a great time.
