I did my first 3x3 workout just last night. At first I thought, 15 sets plus warmup, piece of cake, right? Then after 5 sets of squats I was like “I’m supposed to do deadlifts at the END of all of this?” But I got some rest during bench presses, and have recorded my weight for all of those lifts.
I’m kind of worried about what this natural bulk up is going to look like over the following months. Everything has to be on time, the meals need to get gradually larger, training has to progress, can’t miss sleep… And on the other hand, I have a job, a girl, friends, a family.
But I still think I’l’ be up 15 pounds by the time spring rolls in. Hopefully, 10 of those will be muscle. [/quote]
Dude, just focus on getting 6 protein rich meals a day and getting 7+ hours of sleep a night and you will be fine. Don’t sweat the small details.
