I did something either cleaning or OH pressing to the left side of my traps/neck. It doesn’t bother me until I lift. Now whenever I get close to max effort, I get a thumping headache in the left back side of my head. It sucks, and it already ruined a good week of training.

these types of tension headaches are common in weightlifting, especially if you are exerting yourself while holding your breath, like 20 rep squatting without proper breathing. try some neck and trap stretches and massage therapy. it’ll go away quick enough.

Chiropractic…not chiropracting
NUCCA is pretty cool. Sometimes you have to shout and sometimes you have to whisper…sometimes you need a little force and sometimes more.
To the OP do you sleep with your arm above your head under your head and pillow? 9/10 this is causing the misalignment in your skull/C1 articulation. Combine this with exerting yourself in the gym, turning your head during reps, failing to stay neutral etc, will cause it to re-occur. Take heed to the suggestions on your pillow choice.

This is exactly how I sleep and I get this same thing in my neck a few times a year.
What I found works best for me is a chiropractic adjustment and electric stimulation on my trap/rhomboid area.
