left posterior delt is fried, stopped hurting during normal day. Woke me up in middle of night with bad pain and spasm. I think I over reached by way too much. recovery workouts for a couple weeks.

you have related some of the rehab work you’ve been doing… been meaning to troll back through your log looking for those entries…

The spasms sucked, but I got this way of blocking out pain… It messes up knowing to take something serious or not. Fortunately, I think this is just strain type problem.

Shoulders have been an issue for ever. Nothing like what you and others have gone/going through. No surgeries. Lots of dislocations and sublux’s. 1 dislocation and 2 subs since I (re)started lifting in 2007. Pullups are off limits. Best thing for my shoulders was the 8 week upper body lay off due to pec strain.

On the recent issue:
I’ve been trying to figure out what I messed up, too aggressive on increasing weights? I’ve slid on nutrition and was down to 10grams day of fish oil…

Funny how timely things can be, Kroc wrote an article recently on his way of successfully dealing with injuries. He’s inline with the active healing that is changing medicine. I’ll reread it tomorrow.

I figure I’ll cut pushing training load that hits delts by 1/2 for awhile. I was thinking 2 weeks even if it stops hurting and then revisit. I may cut MP out all together.

It didn’t cross the bad pain threshold tonight. Next week has 6 more workouts, compared to 4 this week. Will see then.

How do the HS declines affect your shoulders? Only machine that causes me pain (front delts) hurt. For working through any injury your numbers are still looking good.

perhaps it is fit issue. I adjust the seats so bar it at (ok, who am I kidding, on) nipples. Also the gym I go to mostly, has the grey models which seem significantly roomier then the white ones at the other gym.

Gonna try and remember son’s lift and doc them here as well.

I told him he’s got a lot going on, with BJJ as his main focus and all.
Then later rethink I told I thought not, as He’d have to get up to like 250.
