Life demanded a no lift Monday.
Better rested then I’ve been for a long time, barely sore even. So tried max again, no where close.

I know it’s frustrating, but for what it’s worth you’re “nowhere close” is my “holy f##k!”.
Dear Canada_k…
I’m 30% BF.
You’re picture gives me a HOLY B@+$#1+!!!
So intent is to get down to 20%. I’m going to be brutally determined to maintain work outs at current level so I don’t loose too much strength. I’ve got some endocrine issues that makes muscle loss more of an issue.

So far I have not seen any of the resolutionists or 3’’ wonders a second time. Saw a pair tonight that I’m positive have done serious, grievous damage.

Can’t seem to recover. Missed 2 lifts already this week and STILL sore as heck and even weaker…
how’s diet going?

x2, and are you drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep? I’m not moving nearly the weights you are, but I find my progress stalls if I don’t keep the lift/eat/hydrate/sleep thing in balance.
Hey guys,
Diet is going well. Cravings not as intense as when I’m not even dieting. Only caved in 1 once potato chips. No alcohol hasn’t even been that difficult (my rule is occasional with GF, she barely/rarely imbibes and even then not much) Haven’t weighed myself. Feel good on this front. I think I’ve moved in one hole on belt.
Only assistance I’m using so far is green tea extract 2x day. Considering HOT-ROX and/or Korean Pine nut oil.
Switched strategy on TRT, biweekly injections (ugh), no E2 control (double ugh) but dose is double what would get me to 800 total if it we twice weekly and E2 control. This is first month, not really as thrilled as I thought I would be. Cognitive and emotive changes are the most positive, Physical not so much.
Sleep is always an issue. I’ve been reasonably decent time wise, but waking way too much. Soreness, Sinus’s, dogs, and life concerns (hormone issues really magnify life concerns disturbing sleep)…
I usually drink like 4-6 liters of Diet Coke… Cutting that back and started substituting water. But yeah dehydration has been an issue (see hormone problems) even when I guzzle water.

Certainly you don’t mean per day.

Uh, yeah…
Endocrine systems are fried, probably been that way my whole life. Cortisol is approaching Addison’s, etc.
I “used” to be fairly hardcore IT guy with very, very, long shifts. Totally addicted to caffeine. I’m still IT, but now I insist non-negotiable sleep every day at least a little, even during emergencies.
Now it poses a complication to losing fat w/o losing even more muscle.

Null, best of luck with the weight loss and the endocrine issues. I am right there with you on both counts. My doc is a complete flake.
Fortunately, there is a walk-in lab here. $79 get my T numbers. Unfortunately, to get DHT ans E2 numbers, it will run about $300. I will hold off on those until I get my T where I want it.
Keep plugging away. The workouts are looking good.

I drink a ton of diet soda and coffee. Never have seen a negative effect. Are you saying this has affect your system or it just kept from sleeping right? Sorry to hear about the problems.
Hey guys,
Just got back from Doc… He said
“NO JUICE FOR YOU!”
well he didn’t say that…
T level was 1500, agreed to target is 800.
But did math on dose (ksman’s formula) and it came out 1600…
Funny somethings radically better: mood, memory, other cognitive stuff, stress resistance, strength not so much… other more personal things are so so (more like 400)…
Doc was surprised (didn’t believe me) that I hadn’t felt aggressive… grumpy a couple times but not really agressive…
Anyway, I have very little cortisol… Last time tested, 1/3 the low normal level. So maybe that explains it.
But this is why I’m a cafienne depenendent, and nearly immune to it… Also why I’m a stress junkie.
Lifting is the best fix, well, health wise…
Nothing like a 25 degree lean at red line, but certianly healthier…
Hit the ton a couple times at deals gap… MMMMmmmmm… Now that’s a fix…
Caffiene can exhaust the adrenals with high doses over time… They can be impaired either temporarily or permanently. Then in a yin/yang kinda way you crave the stimulation/stress to feel normal.
Mine were fried long before that though.
Not much research out there on people like me…
