( Semi off topic) Part of the problem ive seen as a youth coach. is alot of these kids that come from single parent homes. Either one the father isnt taking a active roll with there child or the dad is a complete waste of oxygen. Maybe some might dissagree with me. But I feel that there needs to be a adult male present in a young boys or girls life. Boys more so.
I will second, third, vote, and pass that motion. I really have a problem with women who INSIST they don’t need a man to help raise their spawn. That seems to be the biggest part of the problem.
Having two parents is really important. But I don’t think I realized just how important until after I became a parent myself. Mothers and fathers definitely bring different skills/perspectives to the table.
Bench: Bar x 20
95 X 20
150 X 5
185 X 5
225 X 3
260 X 3
300 X 3
335 X 3… did 4 ,Im not just ready to push it super hard yet ,For some damn reason im having trouble staying tight.
Flat DB Presses : 100 x 10/ 100 X 10 / 100 X 10 …not to bad had more control over them this week
Close grip Bench : 225 X 5/ 225 X 5 / 225 X 5…better then last week but the Tris will still take awhile to get use to the added volume.
Bent rows : 135 X 10 / 225 x 10 / 275 X 6 / 275 X 6

Great training big boy. I was embarrased this weekend when some parents from my youngest’s hockey team were screaming like crazy people. These kids are 9. I don’t get it.
Thanks man. Yeah ,The whole youth sport thing has gotten way out of hand.

I know some ladies will call me low brow or old fashion. But I agree.Im not say they cant. But is it optimal? Case in point. I hug around with a rougth crew as a teen. But iI stayed out of trouble. Why? Because the fear I had of my Father. It wasnt fear of my mother.I knew if I fucked up Id have to face the wrath of my father.

DAMN IT!!!I fear I might have pulled my groin last week. I though it was a minor tweak. But the damn thing isnt 100% cleared up yet. Looks like ill be dusting off my pair of single ply squat briefs and try and squat tommorow.
Squat: Bar X 10
135 X 10
190 X 5…these hurt like hell
240 X 5…added sigle ply briefs ,Im such a dirty little slut
285 X 3
335 X 3…added belt
380 X 3
430 X 3… did 6
Speed pulls: 300 X 7 sigles …45 seconds between sets
300 plus 80 pounds of chains X 3 sigles
Step ups: skipped them
Good mornings ( cambered squat bar): 225 x 8/ 225 X 8 /275 X6
Standing band crunches: 5 X 10
All in all it beter then I thought. I got sick at work and blew chow for some reason at work.So I was debating skipping tonight. Well I was right I had to break down and slip on a pair of briefs on like I thought. The old groin area was a little sore tonight.
For everyone who takes time out and read my post. I feel obliged to warn of a change.
In the comeing weeks I will be intergrating “GEAR” into my trainning. Not just a shirt as I have mention before but a squat suit.
This isnt a rash desision on my part. Ive been miiling this desision since early April when I tweaked some ligament in my left shoulder.Since then I have been looking at a hand full of high level Geared lifters who are now lifting Raw and those that are doing booth and are putting big numbers in both. I have been reading there logs and interviews. Ill be honest this is a major shift in my training philosphy. Trust me Ive spent a lot of time debating the Pros and Cons. I will still compete Raw and so will a majority of my trainning. Im viewing the “Gear” as a training tool.
This should be fun to watch. What type of suit are you looking at? I think training some in a suit will save wear and tear on your hips. If nothing else, just have some fun with it. You don’t need to rationalize or justify how you decide to train.
