Well one week of trainning to go.As it stands My body weight is holding at around 245.So its not going to a major issue to make weight on the 23rd.
You’re hitting the 242s?
Wow. Can’t believe your meet is right around the corner. I remember when it was months off.
Yeah, we know the truth about you and Damutt.
yep 242’s Thats where I hang my hat.
Hey dont be a hater about me and the Damutt. lol

I can’t wait to see you you make out at your meet. fwiw, I’m with you on the body building vs. powerlifting bandwagon. My employer is a bodybuilder and is very successful at it especially as he is the same age as me. Watching him cycle up to a contest has convinced me that I can’t imagine wanting to do that myself. I prefer the easy comraderie and support you find at PL meets. The atmosphere at a BB show sounds very different and not nearly as fun.
Regarding your younger son, if it makes you feel any better, my daughter is 10 1/2 and weighs maybe, 55lbs. She takes after me and is all arms, legs, fingers and toes.
I hope your shoulder is feeling better. What kind of numbers are you looking for at the meet?
My 11 year old is 5’ tall and 125 lbs. Not a giant but huge for our families. My mom isn’t even 5’ tall and I have an uncle and brother-in-laws under 5’5’‘. I’m the tallest of everyone at 5’9’'.

2 months to go. Might of missed it, what’s the breakdown of the 1500?
Damn.I knew I should not have open my big trap. Now I have to whip it out and put it on the table and hope I dont get it cut off. Well since you have put me on the spot I guess Ill break it down.
Squat:525 After hitting it over a month ago in training im pretty sure I should be able hit it.
Bench: 405 this is the one lift im sure about.
Deadlift:575 Ok this one is going to cut it close. As long as the Gods of Iron smile on me in two month I might get it. Plus if I regain some of the lost lbs from the past few months.
this was from 08/31 so it might have changed
Are you shooting for more than 1500 in this meet?

Yeah I figured Id catch hell for what I said by someone.Didnt happen.Thank God.Yeah the atmosphere is different at a BB contest .I ve found that I much prefer the comradier you find at most meets. You dont see very many guys at a BB contest is high fiveing another guy in his class for a job well done.

1500 is going to be pushing it .And then only if the planets line up perfect. So anything over 1500 aint in the game plan.

Anyone else having proplems with this site tonight?
Are you going to have a problem just chilling and resting for the next week or so? What weight class you you in and are you on target to make weight? That’s always top of mind for me despite the fact that I’m usually way under.
