Highlander was a great movie - esp with that sound track!
Of course it was. Had men running around in kilts, beheading each other. Something very Freudian there.
Nice arm abused one.
As for talking about your deadlifts, kinda in the category of morning after’s vow of “I’ll never drink again.”
Lift a lot.

Nice benching. Do you find the reverse grip bench is hard on our wrists?
No not realy. There harder on my tumbs more then anything else.
Do you find it gives your tris a nice workout. One of the better tri exercises?
Yeah ive found that the reverse beat up the old tris pretty good along with the bicepts .Im going to keep these on board for awhile as a accessory exercise.

Reverse grips are awesome once you get over the ‘I am going to dump this weight’ fear. Crediting them for getting my lock out strength moving upwards again.

I agree Pete.Plus I ve got a feeling there going to help me with control, when lowering the bar.

Buy the way ,Took the “Damutt” to view his first Meet today.
Also, 4 WEEKS!!! until my Meet.

" The Universe could give two shits less about your strength to weight ratio" —Mark Rippetoe in interview
As I posted above I took the “Damutt” to view his first Meet. Lets just say I found that I did not care for how the meet was ran. I will not mention the name of the Fed. It just felt half ass. You know things are going down hill when there lights arent working right and the judges are using thumbs up and down .Plus it looks bad when the meet is to begin in less then a half hour and your not set up. Along with the fact I seen a few lifts that where “give mes” . I got the feeling that one of the judges could have cared less and didnt want to be there.I understand putting on a Meet isnt easy and things can go wrong.BUT!!! Its not like the guy who was running the Meet is new to the game.He is well known in this Fed and has been doing meets for awhile. Lets just say in the future that ill stay away from doing any meets in this area with this Fed.I know im being a little hard,But my view is if im going to put down money for a Fed card plus entry fee.I want my lifts to be judged fair.Along with having the feeling of being at a well ran EVENT.
Cute pics. You haven’t seen my son’s hair. Let’s just say that he had seven inches taken off last May. And he can still wear it in a ponytail. Wants to look like some hockey player. It’s just hair, I figure.
Sorry that the first meet that Damutt saw was so poorly run.

I think thats what bugged me the most. I take “damutt” to view his first Meet and it was a Cluster F@#K. My opinion of this Fed just went down a few levels.
By the way my son wants his hair to be like country singer Keith Urban.

Yeah. This breaks my heart. Being small and all. But it’s true.

Dont feel to bad. That quote was my little jab at certain people ive come across.Mostley the guys that takes the whole weight and strength ratio thing to the extreme and use it to make themselves feel that there beter then what they are.Like the 150 lbs guy who benches 250 lbs who thinks that there numbers should be respected the same as 500lbs bench by a 300lbs guy because the the strength to weight ratio is the same. Of course these are the same people who will also point out how they can out rep the same 300 pounder on ,say pullups.

I agree, but only to a point. There’s a reason that “speed kills” is a saying/cliche for sports. Force generated is the most important thing: F = M x A. If weight gain starts to affect acceleration/speed, then it may be time to reconsider.
(I know you know this Bulldog, since you coach football, and your kid plays. Just felt it needed to be pointed out though.)
Well, now. I’m not sure how I feel about your example. Strength to weight ratio does matter and plays a huge role in the Wilks figure and “best lifter” rankings.
If it were all about numbers, regardless of the size of the lifter, I might as well just bag out.
That being said, no one shows up to watch the little lifters. Everyone’s at a meet to see the big numbers, regardless of the size of the lifter.
Sniff.
“PG” and Snap I need to go more in detail what im talking about.I think due to my poor writting ability what im trying to say isnt coming out right. But I dont have a lot of time tonight and I only type twenty words a minute or less, so ill talk more about it Thursday.
