You can reason with a terrorist.
Lot of run up to the big squat set. Bigger jumps and you would of got it. [/quote]

It wouldnt be funny if it wasnt true.

And you will get the 400.

Last minute change of plans. After talking it over with" The Boss" my wife .To avoid any conflict with are youth football program.I will not be doing the October 30 meet in Ohio. Now I will be doing the Kentucky NASA Regional meet the week before on October 23.

Big day Monday.Time to see if the three cycles of axel bench paid off or if its going to blow up in my face.

looks like a few of us will be competing on October 23rd.

New training music for me.

Heres another tune that jacks me up.

My early teen idol.

When do we get to find out if you shit the bed with the axel bench? Some how I don’t think it blew up in your face.

^^ Ill find out in a little while. Heading over the Damutts place to cook out and lift in his gerage.

SPF worlds I assume?

9/6/10

Warm up: light Db movements
light stretching

Bench:3 X 10 X bar
95 X 10
135 X 5
155 X 5
195 X 5
235 X 3
255 X 5
290 X 5
330 X 5…got 4 couldnt lock out number 5, not worried had a few issues
290 X 5
255 X 9…little worn down at this point

One arm DB row: 110 X 10 / 3 X 10 X 130

Band crunches: 5 X 10

Well things didnt go as planned using a normal bar again. Had a “few issues” with the Damutts bench set up. Couldnt get my normal foot placement on my set up, so I was getting zero foot drive on the drive off my chest plus i was having a hard time staying tight…
But I will say that the axel has improved the eccentric part of my bench. All things factored in things went all right.

That’s a lot of benching reps! I’m glad you think the axle has helped.

Different bench heights can really throw me off, too.

Yeah quite a few reps I know. Most of them where just warm up sets any way.

yeah the next time I go over to the Damutts house Ill bring my bench to put in his power rack. Not was his a little to high but the base had a extention right where id normally have my feet planted. Above is a pic of the bench he uses or one at least close to it.Oh well.At least he had a good day.

Another training song

Nevertheless, impressive benching!
