I don’t see abs/core exercises in you programs. The thing is, all these basic lifts don’t work at all for my potbelly. I followed your Best plan, training now on EOD basis, gained some muscle and feel great, but abs look terrible.
I’m 43, I’ve been training for a few years now, but I have a mild case of pectus excavatum with the resulting terrible form of the middle body. If I drop fat it looks little better, but nothing like a proper 6 pack and I stop gaining muscle; 15% or more body fat and it looks very bad. But it’s not only the fat, everything below ribcage is very wide and flexible, and tending to drop down. I’ve been practicing yoga for many many years, and I have a tendency to breathe very deeply abdominally.
Would you recommend something?
