Thanks to Tampa Terry for the ABBH II template and all the help and effort in putting it together. I have however found an error (I think). On Day 1 TT’s template states all 4 exercises performed in 6X5 fashion. For example, Flat Dumbbell Bench Press 6X5
Decline Barbell Bench Press 6X5
Chad’s description says, “Total sets per muscle group: 6, Movements per muscle group: 2”
That would be 3 sets per movement, right?
Further in the notes he states, “Perform all sets in a row for a given exercise. In other words, perform 3 sets of Flat Dumbbell Bench Press with 60 second rest periods, followed by 3 sets of Decline Barbell Bench Press with 60 second rest periods before moving on to the pulling exercises.”
Similar problem exists in the spreadsheet for Day 5. Chad says total sets per muscle group is 6, movements (or exercises) is 2 for 12 reps. That would be 3X12 for each movement, but TT’s spreadsheet states 6X12.
I am not trying to take away from TT’s efforts. I am just trying to clear up any confusion I (or anyone else) might have had.
I know what the movements refer to. I am talking about total sets. It should be a total of six (6) sets for pressing (3 sets each for two movements) and six (6) sets for pulling (again 3 sets per movement for two movements). Your spreadsheet has a total of 12 sets for pressing (6 sets each of 5 reps) and 12 sets for pulling (6X5 done twice).
Chad said a total of 6 sets spread among two movements each for pressing and pulling. Please refer to his “note” for Day 1.
I completed ABBH2 at the end of August,2004. For ABBH2 I made an excel spreadsheet. I wrote:
day1: in a row: A:3x5 - B:3x5 - C:3x5 - D:3x5
day5: 3 giant sets of 12 reps:
A:1X12 - B:1X12 - C:1X12 - D:1X12
A:1X12 - B:1X12 - C:1X12 - D:1X12
A:1X12 - B:1X12 - C:1X12 - D:1X12
I was probably wrong, English is not my mother tongue.
If I was wrong I performed half of the sets. Next time I will perform 6x5 and 6x12.

Hi TT,
I just didn’t want people to perform more sets than the program said. Day 1 should be 3X5 for all four movements (not 6X5). Day 5 should be 3X12 for all four movements (not 6X12). Thanks again TT for your efforts on this really cool spreadsheet.
