Hey I’ve noticed that ever since ive been doing abs, (not for that long) that I kinda feel the burn in my stomach, but more so in my lower back. Is that okay? How do i fix this? Am i just progressing even though this is targeting my lower back??
What “ab” exercises do you do?
Crunches, Bycycle, reverse crunch, mainly the basic ones.
Read up on psoas. Your abs are overpowering your psoas and creating lower back pain. You need to balance out your training.
Your abs are much stronger than your lower back. What stu said.
make sure you are bracing yourself when you do abs, the rectus abdominus shouldn’t “pop” up when you do crunches, your tranverse abdominus should be tight the whole time
