I was just posting what a bad looks like, when I’ve cheated…There was 38carbs and 300cals in the 4 munchkins alone! I normally eat the same things, and know exactly what is in what…the beauty of being a stay at home mom is that I can basically plan meal for meal what I am going to eat that day, or at least that morning when I wake up…but I understand the importance of planning ahead too.
I can get more detailed with my foods and post them here, but I didn’t think it would be all that thrilling or new to anyone.
But if it helps to get more feedback, then I can do that.
My goal is to get 1400 cals…(enough to support my guesstimated LBM)
so that’s roughly 120P/120C/50F…I could try to lower the carbs on just cardio days as well, but up the fats?

Thrilling and new doesn’t usually get shit done. Post details, it’ll help you keep track and maybe someone will be able to give you some helpful input.
1400 calories is about 7.5x BW (assuming 190lbs, I can’t figure out the math in that yo-yo story of weight loss/gain), which is just enough to keep you alive if you were bedridden or comatose.
You’ve been here for what, almost a year now. I lost track a long time ago of the diets plans and training plans that you’ve tried out.
I have to agree with pch2, new and thrilling doesn’t get shit done. In your old log you, I can remember telling you to go back to the basics and I’m going to repeat that advice once again.
Stop this crazy calorie counting. Eat 6 meals a day
with protein at each meal and aim for 1g lean protien for each lb. of BW.
Get ALL your carbs from A LOT of veggies (a variety of colors, not just broccoli) and one serving of fruit per day. If you are hungry, just eat more veggies. Add some legumes to your PWO meal.
Personally, I’d cut out all dairy for now, it’ll help you shed some water.
Use fats sparingly and be sure they are from healthy sources.
Get rid of the junk food, your babies don’t need tater tots. Why not just roast some sweet potato instead with home made chicken breast nuggets? There are more recipes on this site and FA than I could even attempt to make in a year.
I know it’s boring as shit, but it’s not forever. If you can stick to it and you also stick to the higher intensity training, you’ll drop some weight.
This is not rocket science but it does take determination. I’m pulling for you, I don’t mean to sound harsh but I’d really like to see you make some progress and I’m not the “woot woot” go girl kinda person.

Since Diana won’t do it:
“Woot woot!”
haha. I had to. Even tho I’m totally not that girl either.
Thanks Diana and Court-
I think the information I always get stuck on is the amount of protein I need…I’ve read to eat the amount for the weight you want to get at, eat the amount to support your LBM, and eat 1gram/lb…I’ve also been told not to even worry about protein at all…
And there is a lot of info about carbs as well…low carb, moderate, high, only carbs before/after training, eat your weight in carbs…ack! Don’t eat ANY carbs if your overweight, and no cheat meals.
You can see how it can become confusing.
Honestly, the only ‘diet,’ that has ever worked wasn’t even a diet…It was just the timing of food and eating the right combination’s. P+C/P+F

Read that EVERYTIME you start to get caught up in all the little details.
My Hot-Rox and Flameout showed up while I was at the gym…Thanks Biotest!! ![]()
My legs are trashed, and I did 20 minutes walking uphill@level 8/3mph for 20 min ![]()
still sweating!
Food for today:
6am- 1/2 cup yogurt(natural, unsweetened kind)
830am- 3jumbo eggwhites
2 oz oatmeal with a sprinkling of raisins and cinnamon
10-1115-training
1200pm- 5oz chicken breast
broccoli
medium sweet potato
3pm- 1cup strawberries w/1/3 cup all bran buds
1/2 can tuna
630pm- 4oz pork chop
spinach w/.5 tbsp olive oil
830- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
Haven’t logged it all yet…But I hope you can see a better idea of what a decent day looks like for me…(and NO CHEATS TODAY!!)
I will start my HOT-ROX and Flameout tomorrow!

What are all bran buds?
Kinda look like rabbit pellets! lol… but just 1/3 cup has 13 grams of fiber…
Ok, I have a question…
When taking Hot-Rox, it says to do so on an empty stomach…so thats first thing in the morning before you eat and then you wait 20min or so? But in the afternoon, what is considered an empty stomach? 2hrs after eating??
Also, do you think the effect would work in the same manner if you split the 4 pills up through out the day?

If you’ve never taken it before, I strongly suggest taking 1 twice a day to start. If you don’t feel ‘off’, then add a second one in the morning, and again, later, add a second in the afternoon.
You’re supposed to take them 6 hours apart. When I used to take them, I’d eat lunch around 12 and take my next dose around 2. Any later and I was a little wired all night.
As far as taking them throughout the day, I’d probably stick to just twice a day and work up to the dosage of 4… just my .02
ya, thanks…it was more out of curiosity than anything…
I took my first one this morning…I like it! ![]()

Good advice from Twitchy here! (I call her twitchy cause that is how she acted when she took 2 HOT-ROX at once).

Sorry for the hijack but Todd, honestly, I can’t take you seriously when I see your new avatar. All I want to do is laugh (and I mean that in the kindest way possible).
Cardio day yesterday…it would have been really easy just to drive by the gym on my way to the store(which is where I was going after).I did hill walking for 30 min with various inclines and speeds, but always on an incline…I was dripping with sweat and huffing and puffing like I was jogging, so hopefully that is the right kind of intensity.
I felt sad lined up with all the cardio-heads staring longingly at the ‘other side.’
It’s pretty much the same…females stick to the machines and cardio stuff, and all the guys in the weight area…well there was this one girl benching…the bar.
Training:
pushups-2 min timed-32(2 more than before)
Deadlift- 2x5x135 1x3x155 1x3x175 2x2x205(still got it)
It had been a few weeks since I dl’ed…
Barbell shoulder press- 3x8x70
Lat pulls-3x8x100
Lat raises-3x8x10s
Ropepulldowns- 3x8x30
Took a break from EDT the last two sessions…gotta say, I was pretty bored…
I’ll be back at it on Tuesday! Changing up my workout days, so I can take the little one to the library on Monday mornings, as part of my mommy meet up thingy ![]()
I purchased the Metabolic Advantage book, and it arrived today! Its the same consistent info find on this site, but combined into one package…I have a lot of eating to do! I don’t think, and don’t smack me for this, I’ve been eating enough…I’ve been in a low caloric range for so long, my body is probably like SCREW YOU LADY!!
The question that I don’t know is how MUCH more do I need? There are so many ways to manipulate the diet, and I think that’s where my frustrations have mostly been. I’m scared to go up, cause I’ve got it drilled in my head that less is better…Even when I had the online trainer, I was at 1400-1600cals a day…
But I don’t want to count calories, I just want to eat enough good food at the right times but in a way to still create a deficit…I guess THATS the part that is stumping me.
Well, since I got the MA book, I am now a member of the PN site…I used the calorie calc, and whoah!! According to that, I am undereating by over 1,000cals a day!!
I’ve got some work to do!
