oh man things are still crazy. found a room to rent in the old north area right near osu… where i’ll spend my days off so i have a place to crash when i’m out and about.

need to rent an apartment up north. hopefully will do that this weekend.

love work!!! get to operate one of those GINORMOUS cranes. it’s really the size of a damn house. fun as hell now… so i better enjoy it before it gets to be work.

hard hat, metatarsal boots, jeans n a plaidy slothered in mud. it’s pretty hot. =+)

already finding all kinds of weight plates too. gonna try to get a huge collection. have all the boys keeping their eyes out for em.

will get to the gym one of these days. work will pay half… but not until next month…so i’ll probably try to hit the gym next week. we’ll see.

happy to be makin bacon and busy busy.

been sticking to low carb/low cal during the work day and then having a nice sized dinner with a couple beers each night. still chubby as hell. don’t really care at the moment since it’s rainy and blah. just trying to stay happy! =+)

my last fifteen post probably say “can’t wait to get normal and start training”… well nothing’s changed there.

my rental car … which was stuffed to the brim with EVERY FUCKING THING i own… was stolen last wednesday. credit cards and all. it’s been an absolute cluster fuck trying to get shit straightened it. still not figured out. but i’m happyish so life’s good.

wow it’s been a minute!!

with the craziness of finding a place, starting a job, working a bunch, buying a car, etc etc i have managed to avoid training for a good 7-8 weeks.

luckily i’m finally settling down…although i still need a million things and am sleeping on an air mattress…lol… but i have a gym membership. and i find a bunch of weight plates at work so i’ll buy a barbell and set up a deadlift station in my garage. gonna go back to 531 in a couple weeks once i get my strength levels back up. think i’ll use fsq, mp, dl, and bp as my main lifts. luckily my gym has a squat cage so that’ll do the trick for all those lifts.

working five 12.5 hour shifts a week so don’t have a lot of free time. but as long as i get in the gym 2 work days i should be able to make it work.

today’s workout:

shoulder circuit
bb bench press: 65 x 10; 95 x 5; 115 x 3; 125 x 3, 2, 2, 2
nuetral grip pullups: bw x 3, 3, 3
bb fsq: 85 x 8; 95 x 8; 115 x 5
db incline press: 40’x x 8, 7
nuetral grip pullups: bw x 4

oh and i have internet at my place now so expect me to be around a whole bunch more. =+)

i’m living north of columbus ohio and working as a mobile crane operator at a steel mill. i spend my hours throwing scrap around in GIANT ASS cranes. seriously just getting up in them is a workout. =+) anyways i like the work, the pay is good and i’m finally feeling like my shit is a little bit together. plus i’m close enough to cbus to have a few fun things to do.

but the weather freakin blows. lol

headed to commfest…music festival in short north and it’s rainy and shitty. boo.

yeah there is definitely some serious training in this neck of the woods. but i haven’t had time to even think about that yet. and won’t for awhile. have to get together so much shit for the house and am working an insane amount of hours. i’m focusing on getting in the gym and trying to get a few hours of sleep and really don’t have time for anything else right now. hopefully we’ll slow down at work in a couple months and i’ll be able to have more free time to explore!

going to nyc again in july though. stoked for that!

wow that was a hard workout to motivate myself to do. worked 13 hours today. had to run some errands after work. and after i got planted on the couch for a few… the idea of going to the gym was not a pretty one. but i drug my ass off the couch and got it done. just wanted to get a couple things in and see where i stand on front squats (since i’ll be using those on squat day in 531).

workout:

db lunges: 35’s x 16 total lunges
leg press machine thingee: 170 x 15, 15

and sadly, after that i could barely walk.

now to get in a shower…slug back a protein drink…and get to bed so i can maybe get in 6 hours before another long day tomorrow. luckily it’s my friday though!!! and i have a ton of relaxing on this weekend’s menu for once! yay!!!
