hi ladies!!! thanks for stoppin’ by. yeah kimba… i spent a few weeks up in new york but that weather made me want to kill myself. lol
i was just killin’ time between job searching so i figured i’d head south and catch some rays. well they sure took. i love it down here. been having a blast.
headed back to ohio this week tho.
anyways guess i should log some training stuff.
the barbell was loaded at 100 lbs yesterday so i just went with it. i’m totally bitchy, hormonal, and really really really need aunt flo to get here. i want to eat everything in sight. and i’m drinking more beer than homer. but i’m having a blast.
anyways… here is yesterday’s workout:
bb hang clean/push press: 100 x 5, 5, 3, 3, 3, 3
bb row: 100 x 12, 12, 10, 10
and today’s workout:
bb front squat: 100 x 10, 10, 10
bb rdl: 100 x 25, 25, 25
tomorrow is deads and heavy bench. yay! then we’re going to boone, nc to drink some beer and celebrate earth day with the hippies.
taking off now to go listen to some live music and drink beer.
yah i better start concentrating on getting lean. have 6 weeks from friday. but until i start bleeding that shit can bite me! lol

workout:

bb bench: 95 x 8; 110 x 6; 120 x 5, 5, 5, 4, 4
now we’re gonna head to boone, nc and drink some beer.

definitely not quite where it was… and certainly not where it should be… but i’ve done a semi decent job of getting in the gym or implementing things to use as weights whenever i can. but lordy lordy do i miss the feeling of regular progressive training. one of these days i’ll finally get that back.
man the sleeping on futons, couches, and cheap motel beds for 8+ weeks is finally catching up with me in the form of back knots. i need to round up a softball or some pvc and do some rolling. it’s getting gnarly.
went with another super low volume day. worked up to some deadlift singles at 280. got in about 5 singles i think. my grip was definitely the limiting factor. we never did find any chalk yesterday.
i’ll probably get in some high reps at a lower weight later in the evening if i get bored.
workout:
bb military press: 55 x 8; 75 x 6; 85 x 6; 95 x 5; 100 x 3
bb bent row: 120 x 10, 10, 10
millies felt super strong today. especially since i did not feel like working out at all but knew i had to take advantage of actually having access to weights before i hit the road and go back to the land of hotels tomorrow.
40 days until i turn 30 so it’s total lockdown on the nutrition front. lots of low carb, low cal days in the next month. onward to leandom!
So much for you losing strength…HA! Pressing 100 lbs. over your head is AWESOME.

but we have different ideas of lean. i just want my love handles to not ninja turtle shell out past my hips. when i go from ( ) to ) ( i call it lean and fatten back up. hahaha this time i’d just prefer to spend the summer with ) (

man i cannot WAIT to get into some kind of routine.
although i won’t complain… it’s been a blast traveling around the last 12 weeks… but i am so ready to get back on a regular schedule.
i’m getting fat.
i’m neglecting the weights.
gotta get back on track. at least i’ve been making sure to be good 4 days a week. but if i want any chance of getting in a bikini this summer i’ve got to get my ass in gear.
i’m back down in tennessee. and it’s just such a bummer to have to behave when you’re visiting friends.
but at least i have access to a barbell/bench again.
think i’m headed back up to ohio this weekend and then should finally be in one basic spot for awhile. yayz!
anyways… today’s nutrition was excellent. hopefully i can say the same thing for tomorrow’s but add in a nice big workout and a long walk and a couple beers.
