hey girlies! been busy. and life is getting bizarre since i got a full time job offer here… but the pay isn’t great. and then heard a rumor that i’m gonna get a different offer where the pay is better. and i’m in the job hunt out east too so it’s all gonna come down to deciding wth to do. figured some heavy deadlifting would get it off my mind for a minute.
damn nikki i wish I could forget i’m on a diet when i’m looking at fruit and drooling on low carb days. lol
last night i ate a bloody red ribeye the size of my head.
today i had a brownie the size of a gold brick. lol
tomorrow i’m gonna eat what i want and have a few beers and watch the packers smackdown the steelers. =+)

way stoked with the 315! was only hoping for the 305 but i could tell it wasn’t a max effort so i slapped on another 10 lbs and went for it.

and i now challenged u to a weighted pullup contest. that 35lbs sounds good, and i want one too. most i’ve done is with a 25lber, and that was awhile ago.

the 105 mp hit a sticking point somewhere around my giant forehead. lol funny how that first rep is so hard. i did 3 @ 100 last week but couldn’t get 1 at 105. that’s how it always is for me on mp’s.
way stoked with how the w8ed pullups are coming along.
a world class couple (the female heavyweight who won the deadlift comp at the fit expo last week and her man) were training squats next to me while i was doing my last couple sets. i saw her do 6 @ 315 like nothing. amazing strong. they both had legs like tree trunks. dreamy. but anyways they’re doing these phenomenal squats and an older gentlemen came up to me and complimented me on my pullups and told me he’d never seen anything like it. haha it was a nice gesture but so bizarre because next to me was a feat 10 x’s as impressive. lol gyms. gotta love em.

front squats and bench press one day and seated press and db rows another.
finally back home so finally got to workout in my usual gym.
went with timed deadlifts for tonight’s workout. 2 x’s bw for most reps in 10 mins.
warmup: 135 x 6; 185 x 4; 235 x 4
timed reps (10:00): 260 x 6, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1 = 23 total reps
(all full stop… no touch n go) had grip issues since i didn’t bring chalk.
back in tomorrow for a looooong upper workout.
only gonna be in cali for another week. next tuesday or wednesday i’m gonna take a suitcase or two and head east. don’t have a job lined up but i’m pursuing a couple options and if they don’t pan out i’ll just find work doing something else. scary and exciting for sure. in the meantime i’ll just bounce around wherever i know people or have things i want to check out.
