nope… not running any specific “diet”. just do my own thing/rules. carbs/cals heaviest on leg days, lightest on rest days. and one leg day i take cals nice and high so i can fulfill a few cravings, party with friends a bit, and replenish glycogen. when i take calories this low on the low days i have to eat really high quality food to feel good and feel full… if i revert to a bunch of processed diet food i will feel like shit and not recover with all the workouts… so having those LOW days forces me to do a lot of cooking and makes sure i have lots of chicken, steak, and veggies around at all times.

I’ve heard some pretty bad stuff about the behind the neck presses and yet you’ve been doing them regularly. what’s your take on em?

yeah for lots of people they’re hard on teh rotator cuffs and feel awkward. they feel fine but i make sure to keep them light, controlled, and not go below my ears. i only rotate them in for a few weeks every few months and just try my best to stay on top of shoulder mobility and flexibility. it’s the only lift that SHOT my military press up like a mother… so i cycle them in on occasion and don’t fret too much. i definitely don’t go heavy on them though. =+)
I covet those rows and weighted pullups. Really strong, deja!

if they do wonders for your press and your being smart about them then that’s good enough for me. I might even give them a try next time.

And excellent upper body workout. 125x3 on the rows is great. You can obviously row bw, which i think is pretty freaking cool.
