I have tried the zombie style and crossing arms but I just can’t keep my arms or elbows up high enough to keep the bar racked on my shoulders (or my shoulders are puny enough that the bar doesn’t rest on them properly). It’s more of an arm/shoulder issue than wrist I think… but there is no way I’d be able to do full hand grip in front rack either.

2.1 mile run untimed. Legs are a bit sore but not awful, chest is still painful.
This wasn’t the plan… I asked locally for used bumper plates, just wanted a pair of 25s to get some use out of my free barbell.
Someone said he had a whole set… well no, they are just iron plates.
But, I was there with a truck, and the price was fair I felt, so I bought:

Rack, not ideal but it’ll do for now

60 swings last night.
This morning: HTFU, 5 rounds, didn’t go so fast today, except for one round I recorded for @alex_uk inspiration haha:
Then was interrupted by my daughter waking up and wanting to watch me, but I did set my new rack up a bit and did
PRESS
4 singles at 125
Which was a bit disappointing because I did 3 triples at 120 last week. Is this really still the top of my press strength curve? Come on, i just need 10 more lbs!
That HTFU seems interesting, like the idea to get some diverse muscular training AND a bit of cardio in, with a huge time investment.

The press is the slowest lift to progress… And progress is progress! 3 reps to 4 reps is 33% more effort, 5lbs is also almost a 5% increase in strength
It is interesting. Challenge yourself, time it, then try to beat that time.
5 rounds of:
-12 swings
-4 goblet squats
-12 rows per side
-12 diamond pushups
I use a 50lb kettlebell
Obviously you can pick your numbers or change the exercises, I picked these for specific reasons which may be more unique to me.
Thanks man. Don’t have a kettlebell at present, but that should be solveable. Have thought of starting doing some swings, this could be a good way perhaps.
I do 60 swings every night before bed.
Work your way up, and it becomes painless.

Why 5 rounds with mulitples of 4 as reps?
I don’t understand… why would it matter? You end up with 60 of everything and 20 goblet squats.

Wednesday night, 60 swings. And some press singles at 115 since I have weight in the garage now!
Thursday morning, a light circuit of ab weirdness, leg curls, leg extensions using the attachment on my new bench, only had about 10 minutes. A few more press singles.
Last night, 60 swings.
Today is Friday so I’m going to eat breakfast and Press.
4/30, Friday
PRESS Day
10 rounds of:
-10 BPA
-6 strict press 100lbs
-4 pullups
So the goal was 10x6@100lbs this week, I came very close. Set 9 was 5.5 reps lol and set 10 was 5 reps. I went ahead and did an 11th set of 4 reps out of spite.
10 more pullups, just to hit 50 like @Bagsy and reach for superhuman status
Then back to press, one really long and tough set, only pausing to change plates as fast as possible:

2x85
3x75
4x65
5x55
6x45
5x55
4x65
3x75
2x85
1x95
Then some BTN, some Cuban press, some Z press, just trying to totally annihilate my shoulders. Mission accomplished. At the end I could barely press the empty bar.
I feel good about this. I will try next week for a perfect 10x6@100 before moving to 10x6@105.
Awesome, that’s a lot of pressing! With triple digits. And it probably takes you way less time to knock out 50 pullups than it does for me, hahaha.

Technique obviously awful but with this leg drive I could be doing more weight. Now that I have weights at home I have unlocked a new level.
