A Minor Case of Scoliosis

About a year ago, I went to the doctor and found out that I have a minor case of scoliosis that is only evident in my lower back when I bend over such as to touch my toes or deadlift.

For about a month now, I have had varying amounts of pain after doing deadlifts. I’m rather positive that I have good form since I have gotten friends that have been weightlifting and competing for years to observe my form.

I would really like to continue deadlifting but I do not wish to injure myself in the process. My point in posting is to ask this: does anyone have any knowledge of scoliosis and/ or what I can do to continue weightlifting without being in pain?

what makes you think it’s the scoliosis? Where is the pain located? Try foam rolling (esp the glutes) before and after your workouts and I bet you’ll notice a difference.
