A Dog's 531 Journey

Great job, George! Got one under the belt. Now you’re a veteran.
And I agree with with Jack and Math, that 3rd squat looked good…no problem. Chalk the 1st dead up to nerves.
Have a total, will climb!

Thanks for the props everybody - starting to feel a bit toasty now in the legs and lower back. And a couple of beers is putting me under the table - time to go to bed…

Yeah, I bet I know who the knee lockout guy was. I won’t say any more. The judges you had were strict, but the thing to remember is, if you can get a total in front of Colorado USAPL judges, you can get a total ANYWHERE - and that includes the IPF at World’s or whatever. I have no doubt about that.

Way to go…see you in March? If you do Glenwood Springs in May, I might judge it, but I have Women’s Nationals around then too. I’m 90% sure I’m doing Raw Nationals in July in Denver, you definitely need to come out for that.

It was a pleasure to meet you.

Oh, and when we tell you you did something wrong - we’re just trying to make sure you know the rules so in the future, you don’t miss a lift on a bullshit technicality.

Great Job. Congrats on the plaque.

Had to check here before I went to work. Great performance for your first time. Sounds like some strict judging. All your lifts looked easy. Lots more there to come.

Thanks pmpm! I knew they were trying to help but it still flustered me…

All the lifts that I made felt easy, which is the most disappointing part. If I hadn’t screwed up with nerves or technical mistakes, I probably could have set good PRs in all the lifts.

But whatever, I did what I did and got a good lift in each one.

Hey George.

Those lifts look great! You and Jack both had terrific lifts.

I wish I would’ve drove down to see you lift. Next time!

sounds like a great day for you! I lost my ride because of the weather, but I’m hoping to check out your videos soon.

Great Job!

Congrats!! Great meet. Glad it was a good experience for you and you got to meet some fellow T-Nation lifters. Cant’ wait for you next meet.

congratulations George! That was some awesome lifting. and yes, you were plenty deep on your 3d squat! Way to go out there and get some!

Started off my post-meet week with a chair-massage at work. focused on my shoulders that are feeling rather used after two failed bench attempts yesterday.

Way to tear it up, nice work George.

Great total, and nice job!!!

SD- Killer job, bro!!! nothing but props just for stepping up…Nice total…enjoy

Congrats!

Just stopping by to say CONGRATS!!!

Nicely done. You came, you saw, you totaled. Third squat looked good as many have said. No longer a rookie.

I want to work where you do.
