Items to remeber:
1.belt
2.chalk
3.singlet
4.lifting shoes/extra socks
5.sweat shirt and exercise pants to wear when you’re waiting between lifts
6.cooler for food and drinks
7.food/power bars
8.water/gatorade/power drinks
9.iPod
Don’t assume they’ll supply chalk. I got cold waiting between lifts so I wore my sweat shirt and pants. The PB & J was easy on my stomach and gave a lot of energy. Remember to follow all commands. My first meet I blew a rack command with bench and the lift was no good. I think you’ll find fellow lifters are very friendly and willing to help or give advice.
That’s all I can think of right now. Go have a great time and set some PRs!!
i don’t have any advice, but I sure am excited to hear how it goes!

Thanks Steve! Blowing the rack command or the press command is probably my biggest concern right now.

Bastard. I take it you are not in danger of not making weight.

don’t know about an official “card” but I did this in excel:
Attempts: 1st 2nd 3rd
Squat (lbs) 270, 295, 320
Squat (kgs) 122.5, 132.5, 145
Bench (lbs) 180, 215, 230
Bench (kgs) 80, 97.5, 102.5
Dead (lbs) 350, 375, 410
Dead (kgs) 157.5, 170, 185
Go have some fun and get some PRs buddy!!!
Looks like a solid plan. Good luck!

Hey, looks like I am late to the party, but I just wanted to say that I’ve enjoyed reading the first 5 or so and the last 5 or so pages of your log! Your progress has been awesome and it looks like you are ready to rock your meet Sunday, so i wish you the best!
I am doing my first meet in February and I intend to follow a lot of the same prep methods you’ve used. Kick some ass and have fun! Later man
Good luck! I’ll be interested to read all about it.
