Wow
winter started early…
Back seems to be alright, esp. after napping most of the afternoon. Elbow on the other hand…
No squatting tonight, just an extra day off in the middle of the week.

I came by to cast my vote for the red mantard. Studies have shown that in taekwondo matches red gets statistically more points than blue. You need to subliminally influence the judges that you are a badass.
I did stay home. wife didn’t, I guess she had to get soup makings. don’t ask me…[/quote]
No wonder some people seem to be so set on gearing up red instead of blue.
Thanks for the heads up.

I think it’s worth a try. First paint it white, then red and finally pink. Let us know how it goes!

I have the white covered, as it already is. The red is always a possibility, for scientific purposes, of course. If I go pink, though, my daughter will immediately claim it and I will be out a workout room ![]()

At 8, I haven’t really checked
She seems to think that power rack is a jungle gym. She climbs all over it, does flips over the bar, swings around. Pretty much has mastery over her 80#. Heck, maybe she will end up being the one to be my workout partner, in a few years.
Soldog, how many inches of snow did you end up with?
Well we probably ended up with right around 4 feet of snow. The last foot is champagne powder.
dug a path for the dogs…

Shoveling is a workout on its own. I hate winter. Keep warm and dry.
another 90 minutes of shoveling and scraping packed snow, I’m thinking squats are put off another day.
Guess I’m committed now - just joined the USAPL association and mailed in my meet application for this meet:

Congratulations! Can’t wait to cheer you on!
soldog - nice work. They were only a tad high. The bands may have been more of a distraction than help.
I’m amped for you. I can’t wait for the meet! Keep tearing it up!
Also, not that you asked, but I find if I turn my feet out just the slightest bit more than normal, it cuts way down on my tendency to cave my knees. Not completely, but definitely an improvement. Now, if I could just remember to do it every set.
Wow! Catching up with your log… nice work! You have come a long way dog! Congrats on getting your feet wet with the comp… your gonna love it! I have to agree with Strick… angle toes out a bit more, push your elbows forward on the way up, push that chest out… it’s comin’!
