Ouch.
Nice work on the rack pulls, and OH presses…
the mantard is excellent.
hang tough with the kid, he’ll sort it out.
sports and a job sorted me out
Ouch, George! You don’t look very happy in the photo!

try to take a picture of yourself after bashing your head and see how happy you look - lol
Winter storm warning for Colorado, 18-36 inches forecast for my area - fun times.
I have had many different abrasions and bruises on the face and cranium due to lifting… took a dumbell in the eye a few years back, of course with a meeting with the CFO the next day. And I regularly burst blood vessels in the eyes and face squatting and pulling. Great look.
good luck with the kid. Nothing quite as fun as the ‘asshole’ years. I teetered in those years myself.
Nice scrape! I did that to my nose and chin pressing a few months back.
Side question. I am planning a route from Dallas to Tacoma, and one route–the shortest one–has me going through Denver. Is this a mistake in November? I could also go through Albuquerque to Salt Lake. Unless I head to LA and head north, I am going to have to hit a mountain pass or two at some point along the way.
go through salt lake, you’ll have less high mtn passes on the drive. i think…
bring the militaries down to your shoulders IN FRONT of your head… If I only had a nickel for every time I’ve done that to myself…

November isn’t usually that bad but…
It snowed about a foot over night last night and the forecast says up to 4 feet in favored upslope areas
I love workout related injuries!! Nice job.

It’s a snow day!
GPP - 90 minutes of horsing around a recalcitrant snowblower and shoveling snow.
and we’ll do it again tomorrow
Just got through watching the news/weather. “Snow in higher elavations of Colorado…”. Damn, they were right for a change. Oh yeah, that’s using your…never mind. Hit myself behind the head all the time doing BTN presses.
we got a little snow last night, but only a dusting stuck. That’s just the difference between 4k and 13k feet tho…
Snow? I grilled dinner last night wearing shorts.
another 90 minutes of fun cleaning the drive with a little “getting the truck unstuck” in the middle. Wife had to brake for the dumb-as-a-post Shepard, of course at the top of the steep section. Truck slid and got crosswise in the drive. managed to push it straight while she spun the wheels and then it slid 2/3rds of the way down and got stuck again. repeat the push and slide with some help from the neighbor and son. Managed to tweak my elbow and right spinal erector both. We’ll see about squatting later…
There’s no way you could’ve just stayed home??
I came by to cast my vote for the red mantard. Studies have shown that in taekwondo matches red gets statistically more points than blue. You need to subliminally influence the judges that you are a badass.

Feel free to shovel some our way! Suffering through some serious snow envy.
Hope the back is okay.
