perhaps now i’ve had enough beer to sleep…
Sorry to hear about everything going on. Like hel said, gotta get you in order so you can take care of the rest.
I hope this isn’t out of turn, but has your son seen the inside of a jail? My Grandfather was a sheriff, when was a kid. He and my Dad locked me in a cell and left, when I was probably 7 years old. Scared the ever loving hell out of me. I wasn’t in there more than 2 or 3 minutes, but it convinced me that I never wanted to be there again. Even when I was a cop, taking a perp to jail gave me the willies (no offense, j-willy). The reality of forced confinement is less than pleasing.
there is no real family - my “wife” and I have been essentially separated and living in the same house for 3 years now. i’m getting so f’in depressed, slept about 3 hours and woke up with a racing heartbeat and laid there feeling it lurch about, sinuses are killing me with the pressure, whine, bitch!, whine…
George,
That really sucks. I don’t know what the answer is, but is sounds like some kind of change needs to happen for things to get better.

Not to be a smartass, but have you considered the military for him? Straightened me out, quick.
we’re looking into boarding schools and he has expressed interest in the marines after high school. but we have to get him through HS first. he’s 15 years old in his sophmore year[/quote]
Bless your heart, can be rough.

Hang in there.
Thanks for the support everybody. My attitude is much improved today after a better night’s sleep. Started using a nasal wash after seeing the doc about this sinus issue and it seems to be helping. Also got some antibiotics but I’ll hold off on those for a bit. The situation will work out with time, I just need to keep myself sane in the mean time.

Anybody know if high top chucks are OK in a meet?
Grats on the rackpull PR!

Great rack pulls. Strong grip. Don’t know about the high top chucks but if you’re a real man you’ll wear these with those socks.
Great job on the rack pulls. Wow, what an outfit! ![]()

Harry, You need to be wearing those with your kilt.
Particularly the striped socks!
good work soldog. and the chucks are fine
oh, but two things regarding garb for the USAPL: you must be wearing briefs (can’t even do boxer briefs) and your T shirt can’t have pockets.

I dunno how it felt, but that rack pull looked light the way it went up.
High top chucks are good for weddings, so they must be okay for meets…

That rack pull was relatively easy but I decided to stop there allowing for an easy PR next time…
besides I was feeling like toast.
