Natural GHRx8 Band assist x10,10
Finally remembered something the late, departed skidmark did using bands and the power rack. This works the hams better than falling on my face.

Nice to see you’re still going after 5/3/1. Little suggestion with the squatting - looks like you have some forward lean. Try pulling the bar down as well as bringing your elbows forward. It has this lovely effect that will help keep your chest up.

Sh Reh, Face Pulls, Pull aparts, LYT, push-ups 10/10
Bench barx20, 85x5, 120x5
140x3, 160x3, 180x4.5 (F*%K) PR anyway +2 reps
170x1,1,1 Competition cadence
BBB Bench 120x10x 4sets, x8
Db bo row 95x10x3 sets
Dips 5/5 Gotta figure out how to use the bands. These strain my shoulders too much at full bodyweight
I was sure rep #5 was scheduled for racking, it actually surprised me when it went back down. Nice work!

Thanks Charming - number 4 went easily enough that I thought 5 would go as well, but I guess my tris were fried…

Thanks Dude! it seems to be doing right for me.

Nice job on the benches, Dog.

I’ve been fighting the upper respiratory crud all week and haven’t left the house since Monday. Working from home is nice but, boy, do you get isolated. Feeling drained so it was just the reps today and no assistance work.

Stay calm, help is on the way. Hope you get rid of the crud soon.

HA! Thanks hel - that’s really appropriate with the snow that’s now melting off.

Minimal warm-up, bar x many, 55x10, 65x5, 75x5
85x2, 100x3, 110x15 PR +1 rep
Still feeling like crap and haven’t been sleeping/eating right for a week. Had to do something and managed to squeeze out a PR by virtue of slight rest-pauses at the top. I think the worst is over, now to let my head and chest clear out.
A PR when you are sick, that’s diesel. Nice work.
Nice work soldog. Great job working through the illness. Glad to hear that you arre doing better! And a PR to boot!

That is impressive.
Nice! Way to bang out those MPs! Hope you get well soon.
Thanks guys! I’m still going to work from home today. I don’t think my sinuses could take the 4000 feet of elevation change today.
training with sinus issues is hard. when I get that kind of crud I just want to curl up for a few days. Good work grinding through it.

ya - it make your head want to explode, thanks Pete
I think that last cool front that blew through must have carried it this way. I woke up this morning with my chest aching, sinuses hurting, etc… Hopefully it is just allergies. If not, I should try some maxes. I always seem to lift better when on cold medication.
Don’t have to worry about elevation changes here. I bet that really would play hell on the sinuses and ears.
