A Dog's 531 Journey

Nice Work!!!

dog you tore that up.
nice pulling

kmc

Thanks for the props everybody!

DCA - once again it wasn’t really absolute strength that stopped me, it was lung capacity and the fact that my head felt like it was going to explode…

I do notice that my form was going to shit at the end, so it was probably good that I stopped there anyway.

Great pulling, dog! Are you sure YOUR DL max isn’t too low?

I’m pretty sure it is; but I’m going to stick it out for another few cycles before retesting.

putting in some hard, consistent work soldog. Like the vids.

Nice pressing ,
and your squats looked deep

Thanks kmc - it’s always a struggle to keep them from caving in…

NICE WORK Soldog! That’s terrific!

Mr. Dog, those squats be looking better and better. Getting more comfortable down in the bottom?

Thanks DZ, DCA!

DCA - after seeing what got called high for cakewalk, I am really trying to bottom out as low as possible. It felt pretty good last night except for the first one when I came down too fast and forward - felt like I almost lost it. The video didn’t show it but it felt that way.

Dog-- those squats and deads are coming right along brotha!

after reading hel’s challenge on kmc’s thread I went and did

natural GHRs x5

hmmmmm, A little over an hour later and my hammies are already sore…

I must do these regularly, perhaps on squat night

Those would definitely require some pre attempt hammmy stretching. I think I tried going way to slow on the decent the first time I tried them. Good going.

I can see why you feel the soreness. Every time you did a rep I tensed, just from watching.

Hel - that’s as slow as I could go on my first attempt…
