Nice work soldog. Looked strong and had some in the tank.
I tend to favor the left side as well, though not as much the left being lower as my head tilting into my right shoulder.

Thanks LS!
There might have been another rep in there but when my shoulders go, they go all at once.

Cycle 2, week 2 (3s)
W=199
Bike 5m, sh rehab, ytwl
Deadlift (training max 305)
WU 135x5, 175x5
Working 215x3, 245x3, 275x12 (PR Reps)
Deficit Sumo DL 165#x5 (5 sets)
Standing on 45’s using 35’s - Adaptation is a wonderful thing, these were mych easier this week…
Spent the whole day thinking about how tired I was, how shitty my sleep has been and how I would just do the minimum today. Somehow all of that changed during second working set…
My sumo brother! What ever you’re using for a deadlift max you should add 50 lbs to it the next cycle. 275 was easy for you. And the military press weights you’re using for working sets could be warm ups you did them so easily.
soldog- I didn’t think that set was ever going to end…lol. Nice work. That was a PR by how many reps?
I have to agree with eco. Unless you are just going for lots of reps, or intentionally keeping the weight down, you need to move up!

Thanks eco! - I’m planning on doing this program for a long time and since I’m still working on significant form issues with my sumo DL as well as rehabbing my shoulder, I think I’ll just keep upping the training max per the plan. I also need to work harder on my conditioning as those DL reps kill me from the breathing stand point.

Thanks LS - I’ve never done 275 for reps before. The closest benchmarks I have are from last cycle - 285x9 and 270x7
Definitely impressive progress. Great work!

Thanks LS - the last one didn’t feel so easy…
That weight is flying up. Does it hurt your shoulder if you go just a little wider? See you’ve got a spotter. Good deal.

Thanks hel - My shoulder has been fine the times I’ve benched in a rack using a wider grip, but presently due to scheduling issues, I’m limited to using my home setup. And I’m already pushing the grip out as much as I can without pinching my hands when I rack the bar. For now I’m looking at it as an intermediate grip bench press…
