A Breath and a Scream

So my conventional DL is somehow stronger now, I think, than my sumo. This happen to anyone else?

I don’t know why anyone pulls sumo to begin with. It way awkward and harder to counter balance, I’ve never been able to get very far with sumo… i guess for different body types or whatever it can be better.

BUMP. and :frowning: miss you :frowning:

Awww, miss you too. Not really anything to log about lately. “Went to work. Got home at 730. Blew off the gym. Again.”

My eating has been better. I’ve just been exhausted lately. I went to the girlie Dr (not thyroid special) and she tested my thyroid and said it was fine, but I know she didn’t test everything and so I’m wondering if I’m getting wonkier. I’m ready for bed at 8pm (although I don’t get there that early), and hit snooze until 7.

I’m also having a lot of depression lately. Like, close my office door and cry kind of depression. I know a lot of it is stress, but a lot of it is just completely senseless.

I tend to get into the gym on Saturday and/or Sunday and blow it up for two hours, and feel great, but I am just not moving after work lately.

It’ll come back. It’ll balance out. I miss it.

I deal with similar things at this time of the year. Seems the weather amplifies and aggravates. Take a few minutes to walk outside when it’s bright and sunny. Vit. D. eat well and take care of yourself.

hope the stress blows over soon.

oh :frowning: I’m sorry! …i’ve been there. and you’re right it blows off but it still blows while you have it going on!

here’s to it leaving faster, and to fantastic weekend days!

Oh look, here’s Hallowed delivering another lecture. Gawd I don’t know how you guys put up with me. “Everything was fine” UM, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WHAT TESTS WERE RUN?
DO NOT accept everything was fine. You need a copy of your lab tests. If they ONLY ran TSH they don’t even KNOW if everything “is fine” GAWD I HATE DOCTORS.

Highs and lows, you know how it is. Hunker down and take care of you shit, stay focused on what’s important to you, find those little joys in life - I know I don’t have to tell you any this, but just thought I’d come in and show some luv. Hang in there, mama!

Oh yeah, I know all about the right way to do thyroid. She isn’t my thyroid Dr., and just ran the tests since I’m new with her. So I basically ignored her, since I knew she wouldn’t see the more subtle bad stuffs. I have a great thyroid Dr., but stopped seeing him a couple years ago with I got laid off, and haven’t managed to get back to him.

Then I told hubby that I thought I should go back to see thyroid dr., since I’ve been so tired and depressed. He told me not to bother, if I got off my ass and ate better, I’d feel better. Thanks, babe.

Eh, I hate the emotional upheavals we all inevitably deal with. Honestly, training keeps me sane and even-keeled. I can’t speak to the thyroid issue, since I’ve never had a problem there. But if you have any suspicions, get it checked out for sure.

PM me if you want to go out or something. Be fun to do that with you, me, and Brute.

Hope you feel better soon!

Don’t listen to your Husband
Besides, aren’t you supposed to get checked out at least once a year??? Sounds like you need your meds adjusted UP.
Hope you can find a Dr. just as good.

ALL OF THIS ALL OF THIS <3

I solly you guys are going through this :frowning:
sux.

So Saturday morning I wandered off to the gym and squatted 315 in knee wraps. I haven’t wrapped in AGES, those fuckers hurt. Have lots of lovely knee bruises too. I think I bruise less when I do wraps more often. No idea how brutal a suit would look right now.

So I did my squats, then good mornings, then ab wheel roll outs. There was another heavy lifting chick. We did the “nod” thing.

The nod is important.
Are you back on the train?

We’ll see. I certainly don’t like not training regularly. Work should open up a lot in the next couple of weeks, so that might help too.

Here’s to hoping!
Fire that shit up!

nice squating

I’d nod but I’m not sure my weight range is considered “heavy” for ya
