I want to hear about the MEET. And loved your old log can’t wait to see whats next for you. PMPM actually gave me the gumption to call up Shellby Starnes have him work my diet while I train for a AAU meet this year.

I’m a powerlifter, we scream a lot. :wink:

I was supposed to deadlift last night but didn’t quite get around to it. So, I went to the gym this morning (AT 5 FUCKING 30) to deadlift. Not such a good idea. I planned to work to 275 - around my opener. 135 felt damn heavy. 185 felt heavy. 225, with a belt (I usually do this beltless) felt light. 245 felt light. 275 felt good, until my foot slipped out around mid shin and I said “fuckit.”

I then did some RDLs, sumo RDLs, and light squats. I am not a morning lifter.

I’m not a morning lifter either. I mean super early like before 9am. I can’t get anywhere near my max without it looking ugly.

Well, it WAS my opener, but now I’m not so confident. I might have to deadlift again on Sunday just to get my head right.
