So I made some neato grip-work farmer’s walk things yesterday. 1.5" diameter 6" steel nipples (get your mind out of the gutter, they are small bits of pipe…continue getting your mind out of the gutter) with 5’ of chain threaded through in a loop. Chains are rated to about 500 lbs, they weigh about 5 lbs a handle. Loops both ends of chain over 115 DBs, and suddenly I have hard-core gripwork 120lb/hand farmer carry thingys! I’ll post a pic.

I’m tired of hauling 100 lb plates around the gym when it’s farmers day.
I’m gonna wrap them with sports tape, I think. They aren’t overly slippy, it’s definitely more my grip, but the threads are a little sharp.
