Saturday, I did the spousal V-Day thing. Got him up early, drove to a biscuit shop downtown, had some DELICIOUS breakfast there, then went to the museum to see Hubble in IMAX 3D. It was really cool. I have messed up vision, so I didn’t think I could see 3D, but I could and it was awesome! Then, we went boat shopping and checked out a new local bar.
Sunday was heavy back. DB rows, strict form, hold at the top: 8x40, 6x45, 6x50, 5x55, 5x60, 5x65, 5x70, 3x75, 3x80, 3x85, 2x95, 2x100, 1x105
Lat pulldowns, around 5 sets of around 85lbs
1x225 sumo deadlift
1 arm cable rows 3x6-8x60lbs
Bottom start good mornings 2x6x135
Regular good mornings 2x6x185
Back extension 8x bw, 2x6x35, 8xbw
Oh, and then Sunday we bought a new washer and dryer, and an elliptical. Anyone in the CO area need a washer and dryer? I don’t know what we’re asking for them. They’re 12 years old but run fine.

What’s her name?
HEYOOOO!!

Dude, 12 years old, you pervert!
As for the single DL at 225 yesterday, that was me and my sexy PL friend trying to teach his buddy how to sumo DL. His hips always rise first. Beyond fucking the bar and snapping forward, any suggestions?

Actually, since you’re in South Korea, AND it’s a washer/dryer, you should know that each year is actually 2.14 normal American years, so the age would be 25.68 years. But…nice try
Fucking the bar and snapping forwards doesn’t really leave much left to help with, I can’t think of anything. Suggest not being retarded, maybe?

Yeah, that’s what I was telling him. He’s really not even built for sumo…maybe next time I see him I’ll suggest he pull it in. Hot PL buddy and I are both the appropriate shortness.

I’m fighting with this myself at the moment. My sumo pull has suddenly become all back. What often works for me is to cue myself to spread the floor with my feet pushing my knees out and this makes me sit and pull back rather than up. However, it has stopped being automatic for me and sucks ass… in the bad way.
Dude who works at my gym who was a 220er in NASA, tore his shoulder last year, had surgery, sounds like he might have torn it again. He says he’s done with competing. I brag on you and your shoulder amazingness to him.
I’d never realized he was a hot guy, since I’d always seen him in his little work outfit. We were finally at the gym at the same time together the other day, and hooooo lordy, those were some really nice sweatpants and he should wear tight t-shirts all the time.
Dont do it PMPM, it was supposed to be our secret![/quote]
Please disregard my prior post.
Training is going to be off this week. Yesterday was VD, tonight is move washer and dryer into garage, paint laundry room, put up beadboard, put up new hanging rack thing. Wednesday is elliptical assembly/taxes. Maybe things will open up Thursday.

Not sure you should brag on me. I have very little strength/stability in that shoulder. And my bench sucks balls. But I’m thrilled to be where I am.
You ever consider doing a NASA meet? Since knee wraps are considered raw, I could put up decent squat numbers for my size.

I’ve considered it, but they always seem to be around the time when I have other meets - either the State meet, which I want to always do, or NAPF/Nationals/Raw Nats etc. If you do one, let me know and I’ll check it out.
