Hence the nipple action. Maybe I’ll get a raise.

Nothing wrong with nips.

It’s kind of like anal but for therapeutic purposes only.

We should hang out sometime.

Next time I’m in Slaytonville I’ll give you a heads up.

Let’s see, Friday I did a bunch of back stuff. Saturday I deadlifted heavy. Yesterday I threw a medicine ball at the wall a bunch.

Who here has done pullovers for lats? I’ve tried them before, but always feel an intense weakness in my left shoulder, like, scary and it’s going to break. I did them Friday, but instead of doing them flat backed, I did them from my arch. Lo and behold, not only did my shoulder feel strong and safe, but I felt the exercise in my lats! Who knew.

I’ve done pullovers in the past, and got the weird “not sure if my shoulder is going to handle this” feeling too. Maybe I’ll try them from an arch, although, your arch and mine are about 180 degrees apart. You arch like the Gateway Arch, I’m so jelly

I used to do pullovers…didn’t feel like it was a good use of my time, I never got a good pump, or able to move real weight…so I moved on to other things.

My $.02

If you google images pullover it comes up with a bunch of skinny guys in tight sweaters. Just thought you’d like to know.

Oh, and I think the tiny freak does them on her DL day.

Yeah, I don’t really consider them a “building” exercise, since I didn’t use a lot of weight. More of a “activate/feel the muscle/be aware” kind of accessory thing. The big benefit I see with them now, is when Dave Tate tells me to take the bar and pull it with my lats, I know how that feels.

You doing the March meet?

Not planning to, it would mess me up for Nats.

So my weight room is pretty darn small. I’m respectful and do my things in a manner that keeps out of the way if possible. Yesterday was DB snatching.

I do these over by the dual cable thingy, 1) because there’s a lot of open space, and 2) because the area isn’t used as much as say, the bench press stations.

I generally put my bag in the corner and take out anything I will need for the exercise - here, my chalk bag. I hang the chalk bag on the cable attachment handle thingy holder, and work my snatches. Heh. From 8x30 up to 3x1x65.

In the middle of the workout (as I’m exchanging one DB for another), I see some dude who was benching (Monday, natch) reach into my chalk bag and take a piece of my chalk (the good big piece, that I use to chalk up bars rather than my back, too!). I storm up to him and say, “Sorry, did you want to borrow my chalk?” He mumbled something, put the chalk back, and walked away.

Fucking rude.

I also did some bad girl work with my red band (figure 8 of one loop), but then I had to get back to feed the spouse or risk him eating one of the cats.

You say it like its a bad thing

the nerve of some people!

I found a husband who self-feeds. very convinient and as a bonus he also feeds the cat.

Damn, think we could clone him? Yesterday I left work, got the dry cleaning, put gas in the truck, picked up beer and sammiches, and arrived home just in time for the Duke-UNC game. No gym time. Anyway, got home, the cats freaked out, and he says “Oh, I think they might need food or something.”

Not sure if I’m bitching or it’s funny. Probably both. Tonight is ME Chest.
