You’re a skinny kid and I’m guessing you have a fast metabolism.

Just, eat a lot, and often. Eat “well” as much as you possibly can (steak/beef, chicken, eggs, nuts, brown/white/jasmine rice, sweet potatoes, Ezekiel bread, almond/peanut butters, veggies, etc.)

However, you’re probably not someone who should shy away from things like pizza/burgers/etc if presented with the opportunity.

Keep it up.

Here eat like a beast… Just make sure you train like one

That is awful advice. That article should be read as “if you think you really can’t gain weight, you’re not eating enough. Look what it would be possible to eat.” NOT “actually eat this way.”

OP gained almost 8 pounds in 6 weeks, he’s doing fine. Good advice by SSC a couple posts up.

Not that.

What SSC said, also nothing beats intensity. You can try all sorts of rep/set schemes but without intensity in whatever you’re doing you will just be spinning your wheels

My training is intense, and I train as hard and heavy as possible with small rest between sets! I manage to go up on weight every week for what i’m lifting whilst maintaining form, but thanks for the feedback everyone, will update again when I reach 170lbs (77kg)

Awesome work kid! I also agree with SSC; that good advice he gave. Be patient rome wasn’t built in a day. Props!!

Bieber?

Sorry, I had to.

On topic: Good progress. Keep up the hard work and listen to advice already given in this thread.

This. And stop trying to eat your own lips.
