Anyone have a guess as to what my bodyfat % is right now? I have striations in delts/glutes and vascularity in my quads, delts, lower abs. I know I’m holding a lot of water right now (when I dry out I lose about 10 lbs worth of water) but curious as to what anyone might think? I don’t have calipers, I suppose I should go get some.
Looking solid. I’m not expert but I judging by the absence of abs I’d say your bf is still above 10%, how lean are you looking to get?
Also you say you’d follow the Westside Barbell training protocoll for bulking? What was your diet like when bulking?
I’m 6’1" and looked like you in high school, probably little lankier and the bulk you’ve added looks great! Oh and what size are your wrists?
good job, man. is the hopburn method working good? any strength gains from it?
I usually don’t post on these RMP threads, but I truely admire your progress.
It sounds like to me that you did your homework, found what made you grow, then did it. Then after gaining the size without worrying to much about a little fat gain, cut it off and you know have yourself a physique you can be proud of. Congrats to you.
Too many people worry about abs and bf% to the point that they don’t grow.
I noticed you mentioned continuing your cut and stepping on stage. I really don’t think you have a stage ready physique yet. By the time you got lean enough you wouldn’t have the muscle mass. Thats just my opinion though.
You mentioned cutting for 6 months. I reccommend upping calories and eating at maintnence. Then gradually up the calories to slowly build muscle while gaining little or no body fat. You are at the point where you can do this without gaining excess fat.
Once again, great job bro.

My diet was Anabolic Diet while bulking. My wrists are a little under 7 inches.

Hepburn was alright but I think the difference between my 8RM and my 1RM was quite a bit of difference and it didn’t seem to work out as well. My CNS is definitely trained for singles and triples more so then 8 rep work. That being said I’m back on 5x5 now and will be moving to some higher volume/split type training to just do something completely different then my norm.

Yup definitely didn’t care so much about abs and bf% and really just wanted to get some size on me. I may indeed try bulking up again and keeping it a bit more lean this time around. I’d say my end result I’d like to be 185 at 5-6% bodyfat and be able to maintain that year round. That way I can still fit into my suits and what not for work. Any thoughts on how long to eat at maintenance?
It’s nice to see someone who doesn’t care about abs. You’ll get huge from it.
Abs are pretty and all but mine have always sucked anyways so generally I’d just go for being bigger and stronger then people and then cut down to as low as I can. If abs come out great, if not no biggie.
As it stands if I start competing again for rowing I’ll be having to be at 160 lbs so I’ll be going on a super cut unfortunately to do that. I’ve started bulkin up a tad bit again and I think I may try carb cycling this time around. AD was great and all but got expensive with that much meat.
Looks good. 6 months seems a bit excessive for cutting though imo.
Lifts are impressive, my measurements are very similiar but lifts are quite a bit lower, although I’ve only been lifting for a year.
Keep up the good work.
It took me about 6 months to really do it right. I cut for about 8 weeks then went on my last spring break ever and pretty much consumed terrible food and tons of alcohol all week. It wasn’t until about the last 8 weeks or so that my cut was really really serious where I cut out the drinking and didn’t have more then one cheat meal a week.
i like your masss overall! abit more cutting is needed and ull be in good shape! well dne
7 to u from me
Yah gonna cut again after I reset my metabolism. Thanks!

If you want me to rip you a new one, you have to work with me. Next time, post only one pic and act like you think you deserve a 10.
It takes two to tango.

Haha I’ll keep that in mind for the next one.
