In your training journal your lifts are far below.Which is your explanation ?[/quote]
I’m doing hepburns training protocol which I also posted the link to in my log. Basically you choose a weight that you can do for 8 reps and do it for 8x2, each session going up a rep i.e. 7x2, 1x3, then for the lifts that are 6 or 7 reps you take 20% off your 8 rep max.
That’s the type of training I’m doing right now, it seems ridiculously light as it’s supposed to. Once you finish cycling up to 8x3 you put another 10 lbs on and repeat it. I will eventually go back to Westside barbell for skinny bastards type training as I’ve enjoyed that the most out of everything but I figured I’d give this training a whirl and see how it goes.
It seems to have helped preserve muscle mass well enough and my strength hasn’t been suffering.
Pretty solid, hit your traps/lats more.
I suck at bringing my traps out when I pose. They tend to overshadow the rest of my shoulders I feel. Maybe I’m just off about it though. This last 2 weeks I seem to have been shedding weight a bit quicker so I may have lost some muscle. Who knows.
one of few people who actually deserve the “solid” comments. your chest looks laggy in comparison. other than that i think youll have a pretty good physique when you diet down a little more.
Yah I’ve always had a shitty chest. It’s up to 46 inches now up from 34 when I started lifting so I’ve made improvements on it but it still lags. My bench in turn also lags behind the rest of my lifts hopefully I can bring it up. Ultimately I’d like to get 315 by the end of the year, we’ll see.
I plan on getting a bit leaner still and drying out to see if I can possibly do a show. I feel as though I’ve kept my size relatively well compared to how much weight I lost. Don’t know if you can see in the video but I’m starting to see my glutes come out really well and when I wake up in the morning my quads have that real vascular look that is boarderline disgusting so hopefully my wheels can carry me over in a show.
Anyone notice any poor symmetry? I’m really worried about that.
Also I will have actual pictures up soon instead of just video. I know it’s hard to compare pictures to video especially when the video moves so fast. For some reason it seems to have recorded in a faster mode then I posed in. I was trying to hold the poses for at least 10 seconds each before changing.
Your biceps are too big for a rower…2
jks
I take it that you sweep row, hence worried a bit of asymmetry. Switch to dumbbells and one legged stuff if you want to check your imbalance. I changed for barbell military press to dumbell shoulder press and behold my left was weaker than my right (bow sider).
I sweep and scull. Currently sculling in a double (can make ltwt just choosing not to). I generally do a ton of dumbell work in the off season to really focus on symmetry just making sure it is happenin alright. I still train every other 6 weeks with dumbells to maintain symmetry, just hoping it is alright ya know.
Hmm any advice from anyone? Improvements? I’m kind of sad that so few have responded. I mean hell I figured makavali would come rip me a new one at least.
keep doign what youve been doing. it seems to work. i really can only say work more on your chest. get bigger after you cut of course and well how you turn out on your next cut, theres not a whole ton of general information you can say to a guy who knows what hes doing.
Well I guess I’ll just keep at it. I’ll post updated pics after I dry out/carb up. Sometime next week. I will probably end up around 170 so next years goal is to be a shreded 180 with a bigger chest and bigger lifts.

uhhh what? Yea ok, ignore this dude.
Good work LM! I know all about one side being bigger than the other, but it gets worked out pretty quickly. I had to do some things like bicep curls 40lbs in one hand 45lb’s in the other but I’m back to even these days.
Great work and I look forward to seeing your progress.

Yah not so much. If you look at the before pics I had all the muscle to start with. Just had to get rid of the fat covering it.

Thanks CP! I’m still tryin to stay right around 170 for ltwt and then just cut water pre-race. I just started training again for that and am racing a double now. Be on the look out for some domination at hooch in the champ double (we’ll race hvywt in the fall). Puttin together a quad or a 4 too if you want to race.

Senior year of high school at a whopping 135 lbs.
this one
Yah that was 4 years earlier then the other pics. In 4 years I put on 60 lbs. That equals 15 lbs a year. How is that in anyway attributable to steroids? If I had juiced I would of gone for a solid 250-260. After summer is up I’ll shoot for getting to 225 before cutting again.
I also have nothing against steroids. I will probably try them when I’m older and my test levels suck and I actually need them. At 22 years of age, I’m horny as hell and my test is naturally the highest it will be. Why juice?
I’m just a skinny ecto, who be-grudges one and all.
There are times when I wish I was an ecto. I’d get to eat a lot more junk and enjoy this all more heh.
