Do one for four to six weeks, then do the other for similar time.
5x10 @ 70% is no walk in the park BTW, work your way up if you’re yet to do it.

Then, I am not sure what you are asking.
As long as 5/3/1 is progressing, do what you like. Just keep it in line with your goal(s).
But doing a challenge (the BBB comes to mind) would be a better option. It will push you, keep in line with the philosophy and answer your question.

I’m going to assume you haven’t read the Beyond book. If you had, you’d know how the supplemental work changes after 6 weeks. So do one for six weeks and then change.
