5 Years Hard Work

I am 25 years old and have been seriously weight training for about 5 years now. My weight has gone from 190 soft to 236 much harder.

I have competed in 3 Bodybuilding shows in the past and plan to compete in May of 2008 again. I would appreciated any opinions or constructive criticism. If you have any questions please ask.

Robert

Camera angle sucks. Moving on

Vastus medialis looks a little small in comparison to the rest of the quad, good development though. Arms look like they could use a little work, even from that angle. Lats could also be bigger. Up to 230’s, not bad. Keep it up.

Here is a better “angle”

Here is another angle

Your legs are very well developed, but your upper body could use more size. Usually its the other way around-guys work their top and forget about the legs.
Anyhow great effort keep it up.

other than maybe your delts, looks pretty damn good! Your legs are really excellent.
Paul

Doing good but if you are competing then you want the harsh criticism to help your weak points

traps
hams
pecs
delts

Everything else looks OK so far, if you focus a bit more on them and bring them up that will really help you out I think.

I suspect you don’t deadlift much?

I think your quads are your strong point and if you get everything up to that level you’ll be doing great.

Actually, I deadlift weekly. Have been for like 3 years. Check out my profile and select videos. I rep 425 eight times… Thanks for the imput.

Here are two more shots. One shows a side chest and the other my upper back…keep the imput coming please, this is very helpful. Thanks

side chest

wow amazing legs mate.Looked like 5 years of work paid off. need more size on delts and triceps

definately looks like the bulk of your weight if from the lower body, not that it’s a bad thing at all. Keep training your legs, but get your upper body bulked up and you’ll be even better.

That looks better must have been the way you posed in the first few shots

Still, get your upper body up to speed with your legs

I know that you guys are rough, but damn!

Only a 6.9? His legs might be overshadowing his upper body a bit, but still looks eons better than 99% of the people that post to this forum.

I’d hit it  !

Thanks for having my back with my ratings. But I dont think my GF appreciates the “I’d hit it” quote. She reads all my posts as we are a team and work out together. She is currently training for her first figure show. we will post pics of her as the weeks pass on. 20 weeks out right now. thanks again for all the support!

I retract what I said about your legs. Good work.

Thanks. Lots of heavy squats and extensions. Straight deads and conventional deads for posterior chain development (back, glutes, hams)

Lookin good bro. I would say bring up them arms and you will look even better. Goodluck.

Puullease dude, it was a joke common to this site, your girl will be just fine.

We are rating a physique here, not a physique compared to the other people that post on this site.

With that said, I think you look good. Your legs are def your strong point. Main areas that need improvement IMO are delts, triceps and chest in that order.

Good luck with your show and training.

Thanks, I have been training my chest/shoulders/arms like a freak for the last two years. Arms have went from 16 1/2 inches in 2005 to 17 3/4 currently. At this point it is a waiting game, train, eat, wait to grow… Anyone care to outline their favorite workouts or exercises for my trouble areas??? Greatly appreciate it.
