8 Weeks Out...

Hi all, just thought I’d post my recent pics 8 weeks out from the WNSO natural bodybuilding show coming up october 18 in calgary, alberta… I’m 31 years old, training for 15 years consistently, and have recently got to the point where my diet is top notch without binges and cheats… this has made a big difference in my physique for sure…

I am lifetime drug free steroid free, and currently use beta alanine, Metabolic Drive, and fish oils… I train 5 days a week legs/arms/chest/back/shoulders… I work calves 3 times a week and abs twice… reps from 8-15, lots of supersets… In the winter to put on size I switch to a Waterbury inspired program of full body workouts every other day with compound moves…

I eat only when I am hungry, and no starch or man made foods: lots of fruit and veg, any animal meat, eggs, cottage cheese, cheese, and mixed nuts… I find it so easy now to be in the best shape of my life eating this way, and I always make sure to wait until I am hungry to eat anything after a workout… yes, I am different than most people, but also the heaviest and leanest I have ever been, so it works for me… thanks for your input!

Wow, thanks man I work hard…

6’1"
206 lbs morning after pee

Caliper:
Ab: 6mm
Oblique: 4mm
Thigh: 4mm
Tricep: 3mm

4 site jackson-pollock bodyfat 4.0%

I need to get those numbers down to 3mm for all skinfolds for the stage… I want to be 202lbs morning, maybe 205 carbed up on stage…

Best ever bench press competition form with 1 second pause on chest and everything touching bench: 365 lbs

Squat: 315lbs X 1 ass to ankles (I know I need to work squats HARD after this comp to bring the legs up)

Dead: 445 lbs X 1

Oh the bench is raw BTW…

Other numbers:

supinated chin up chin above bar from dead hang: bodyweight + 140lbs X 1

Parallel dip upper arm breaking horizontal: bodyweight + 225 lbs X 1

28 dead hang supinated chins without letting go of bar chin above bar

Dumbbell bench press bells touching chest to full lockout: 150 lb DB’s X 6 reps

OK i think thats it…

I gave you a 9, mainly because that 5 it was at when I read this was too low. Very impressive, everything seems to be in proportion as well.

Just put in a helluva lot of volume and I think you’ll be a contender

You look great man, I have you a 9.

What are your measurements??

looking good bud, keep it up

Looking great bro

Very solid for 8 weeks out. Any idea how many more pounds you are going to drop before the big day?

excellent work.

quick question about your eating habits; when you do the whole body rotuine for size in the winter, do you eat only when you feel hungry, or is that only when you are in the contest prep phase.

whatver you do works very well for you, im just curious.

Very impressive work! This is what the RMP forum is all about. Could you please post a close-up of your legs? You appear to have some great quad separation and I think that by showing it off a little more, you might get higher (more accurate) ratings.

Outstanding! You look better than a lot of people who actually use AAS. Your arms, especially, really stand out. Great job!

If I had to offer any advice it would be to bring up your delts, particularly the side and rear heads. Not that they’re small in any way but with those freaky-ass arms some slightly bigger delts would balance things out.

A small point though. My hats off to you.

For gaining muscle, instead of eating when I am hungry, I eat when I am not full… there is a difference and I end up eating more food for the day…

thank you, I will be getting a decent camera tomorrow and will post more pics as the prep continues… I have clear striations on both vastus medialis and lateralis right now, I just think I need to bring up the size of my legs more this winter…

good question…I dont know! All I know is I look completely different pumped up after a workout than before I train… I think that is a hallmark of a natural bodybuilder vs aas bodybuilder…

Thanks bro, my arms have always been my strong part so I totally agree with the delt thing… posing skill is a HUGE factor as well when displaying the physique, and the camera isnt that clear so i will post more progress pics later at a higher res…

Nice work, good chest and bi’s!
