Hey DCA, I just became a member of VirtualMeet. I’m thinking of signing up for the meet next weekend. Doesn’t look like many people are signed up. Also, I couldn’t find you on the signup. I’m probably doing something wrong…
Glad you signed on. Go ahead and jine up for teh meet. It is small group so far, but I don’t think the word’s out about virtualmeet.

I sign on there as Wade, my real first name. My parents, after giving me a name best used for middle-level-bad-guy characters in Westerns-type movies, chose to call me Tony (from my middle name - Anthony) which I go by amongst friends. Official documents, the government and tax-collectors and ex-wives have to call me Wade. I dunno why I chose to sign up as Wade there, though - they’re good folks.
This is my best guess as to why you signed up as Wade:

A guy like that can wear the appellation of Wade and be respected.

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. I’ll try to live up to them.

Even at 5’2"

circa 1980

Oh. My. Lord.

I was sure I’d burned them all…

Caption should read: Care-free youth - Looking for beer and STD’s.

Now THAT is a classic!

Best of luck, Tony!

That pic is AWESOME. LMAO!

You are a GOLDEN GOD!

hey tony. on the 5/3/1 deloads, i skip the main lifts, and just 5x8 on the accessories. I heard somewhere that deload should be 80%, so I just reduce the reps. works good for me.

Lets see your numbers from the weekend!

Didn’t I see you singing at half time last night?

After trying it this last session, I think the 50-60% of max for 3 sets of 10 is going to work pretty good. Keeps the blood going through the joints and pressing the first few to 5 reps for speed seems to keep the nervous system primed.

Very, very nice. Way better than any circa 1980 pic in my archives.

Great pic. I was thinking more Led Zepplen then the Who though.

You might be right, but check out the Daltry pic circa 1977:

Frampton, man. Maybe I’ll think I’m Jesus, next.

I’m bailing on any squat or deadlift deload work. I’m deloading my deload. Meet is on Friday and my butt and hams are still tight and sore from squats last Friday. Maybe some bodyweight stuff or band GM’s.

Airlifting: making your deloads easier.

Duuudes, the corporeal might be Who Are You?, but the essence is so totally Fast Times at Ridgmont High.

Whu?
