5/3/1 Hip Pain, Squat/DL Substitute?

hello everyone,
im following 5/3/1, and will start 5th cycle from monday. only problem is that i wont b doing squat n dl in this cycle because of hip pain (it has happened twice in the past, n has taken around 10-14 days to heal).
im planning to do 5/3/1 chinup on dl days.

Problem is setting up squat day, as leg press is also aggrevating the problem so does gm,rdl. i tried lunges n it felt alright, it means stepups shouldnt be a problem?!
what do you guys suggest i should do??
started doing tons of stretching n mobility work for hip.

Keep your traps tight, your chest out, back straight. Your chest is caving in on you from almost the smart gets worse in the hole and coming up is the same problems. Drop the weight down until you get your form more consistent.
