5/3/1 for Football

Interested in how this can be used in a rugby team

Bought this last week. It is worth every penny. There is a lot more to it than just the 5/3/1 template. It is ridiculously comprehensive. A great buy for anyone that wants to be a better athlete, and an absolute must for strength coaches.

Welp I thought 5/3/1 was enough, but you guys have sold me. Buying this shit right meow… and I don’t even play football.

Any early reviews? Is it applicable to those who don’t play any competitive sports but do want some conditioning for general fitness purposes (improve workout capacity in the gym, intramural sports, etc.)?

I guess in terms of specific skills, I’d like to improve on my acceleration, explosiveness, and agility.

in terms of rugby you can pretty much use the identical weights, speed and pylo (med ball) workouts - just increase the conditioning work a bit leading into the preseason
