5/3/1 BBB, Am I Ready?

I just got over a injury that has put me out for 7 weeks. I am thinking of running 531 and add in bbb when my body gets used to training. I am 16 and my lifts are 235 squat, and before my injury a deadlift of 280, and bench of 150, I was able to squat while injured! All these are at 130 BW 67in. Do you think I am ready for 5/3/1 and BBB.

No. If you are getting injured at 16, you need to run FSL until you have form mastered. Sets of 10 don’t need to happen.

Thanks for the response. Do you think that BBB 5x5 at 80 percent would work? To keep the reps below 10.

Stick with FSL.

That’s not BBB. That’s doing 5x5 @ 80%.

Assistance: 25-50 in the categories
