44 and There's So Much More...

"No cage? What the hell. "

An old friend once said:
“Like it or not,
Like what you got.”

I also bench, MP sometimes upright row, and shrug in the smith…

3 smiths.
8 benches (4 adjustable)
1 decline bench
2 benching benches (one is incline) Nice Olympic collar bars (didn’t seem to flex, with 460 on it)…
1 45 degree leg press.

More plates then I can lift.
I think I can only get 6 45’s on a side though in the smiths, but that will be awhile…

2 nice 4 sided cable towers.
Bunches of machines (some quite nice, all utilitarian stuff) and Cardio stuff…

2 sets Db’s up to 70 increment by 5.

They don’t like you dropping or setting the weights down hard.
Just me, but I figure setting it down controlled is part of the form.

$20 a month, can lift at lunch, and bring my boy from time to time…

All in all I’m happy.

Uh, Found this I think off of Soldog’s log…

Gotta agree it’s different exercise, I figure a %20 penalty and will start at less then 1/2 when I do go free… Cause I feel imbalances and stabilizer injuries are likely…

I do some free weights, mostly at home…
Got PowerBlocks (to 130) and Ironmaster incline/decline bench at home. Never heavy always volume. I don’t have anything to protect the floors and find lift off a bitch. Also my shoulders dislocate easily, so failure is NOT an option.

Congratz on the PR. Very nice pulling.
And did I read that right?? You ditched the 195# squats for 375# squats? That is a hell of a jump.

the 195 was 3x10…

I had been doing 5x5’s with pr of 425(?think?)…

Working on 10x10 upper program so all weights are like WAY off… and 3x10 for Squats and Deads…

That’s awesome. Great work!

up row
5x67 (not such a good idea)

try modified up (grabbing ez-bar by gaps in weights)
2x5x67 (still not a good idea)

The volume…the volume…can’t help but shake my head. An empty bar or 5# DBs would get tiring over that many sets.

Very nice. You have to keep an eye on him. He keeps throwing heavy weights in the mix, to keep us on our toes.

And those are some heavy weights, I like your mix of volume and strength.

Decided to go 10x10 at home (mostly upper body) even if I only get a couple exercises in.
Stick with Heavy on squats and dead’s as I don’t have much on lunch…

Gotta get work capacity up…
Gotta get more miles…

GF dropped me on nasty hill in Chapel Hill. She’s nice, she waited at top…

Excellent deadlifts. Sweet GF. Kinda the carrot and the stick.
