4-AD-EC Macros: Attn: Bill Roberts

A few of the forum regulars (Jason Norcross, Joel Marion, and Steve Coppola) and I were discussing the issue of macronutrient breakdown while bulking on 4-AD-EC. We all seemed to agree that since 4-AD-EC is sort of a “middle-of-the-road” between Mag-10 and Tribex, one would want to also choose a “middle-of-the-road” macro breakdown between bulking on androgens and naturally.

The general consensus was to go with a 40%P, 40%C, and 20%F approach with 2g protein/lb. body weight, ~6g EPA/DHA, and carbs focused early in the day and post-workout. Just wanted to run our thoughts by you and see if you agree, disagree, or have something to add. Thanks for your help. Also, anyone who has bulked with 4-AD-EC - feel free to chime in and offer share your experiences regarding which approach(es) have been most effective.

At least 50% of fat intake should come from an EFA source.

I would like to know this also. I found out when I was dieting with 4-AD-EC that when I added a little carbs and dropped the fat a little(same cals.); I lost fat quicker. I never tried to bulk with it yet.
