23, 4'11, 109 lbs (New to Lifting)

Okay, I don’t want to be the dick here, but seriously, how is she getting a 5.7? (Note to the OP: a 5.7 is rather good evaluation on RMP)

Judging from a lifting perspective, she looks like any other girl with a decent body who doesn’t lift. OP, you’re far from bad-looking, but keeping in mind that this is a site dedicated to serious lifting, I really don’t think it’s fair to give someone who has had such a short history of training (and looks it) such a high score.

All I can say is that maybe with enough guidance, I’ll look good enough & be strong enough to do bikini one day.
Don’t get butt hurt over a score, I could care less if I had a 2 because this turned into something better, me learning how to self improve.
Maybe I should have posted a before photo of myself.

I’m hardly “butt hurt over a score”, it is simply that any moderately attractive or better woman posting pics into RMP tends to get a high score and lots of positive comments even though they have sub par physiques IN THE CONTEXT OF COMPETITION. IMO, when “Rate My Physique” becomes “Rate My Attractiveness”, the ones who lose out the most are women who are actually at a serious competitive level and want honest opinions on where to improve. I’m not a woman, so it’s not for my benefit that I’m saying this. Please consider that before labelling me as “butt hurt”.

It’s great that you’re enthusiastic about your journey towards self-betterment, but I do think there are better places to document it. Have you considered starting a log? I’m sure plenty of people would follow it and give you tons of helpful info.

Are there supplements giveaways related to RMP rating?

I didnt think so. Why do you even care.

And sorry to break it to you but “attractiveness” is a pretty damn big criteria nowadays in the bikini division

I get what your saying, but your avatar is grose.

Do I detect a white knight in the vicinity?

Even so, perhaps you’re right. This subforum seems to have been quite a lost cause for some time already. I’m certainly not going to be the one to turn the tide.

Go ahead, histrionic 16 year olds of the world. You now have my blessing to clutter up RMP with blurry cell-phone selfies of your 150lb, “sub 10% BF” bodies to an even greater extent than you already are.

I’m out.

you’re such a dick. Z Raw was right. I have no idea what this ‘white knight’ stuff is (why do people say this?). I’ve got a RMP thread, and I’ve benefited from it. Everything should be taken in context. I don’t give a shit how my rating compares to others on this site (although I think mine is fair), I’m not that insecure. I’m guessing the OP feels the same way.

The value of these threads comes from the content and the advice (which has been plentiful here), as well as being a good way to document progress. It is not about the number at the top of the page.

OP: Keep up the good work.

Thank you, I dead lifted near body weight this week (95lbs) & back squatted 85 lbs and took Beth’s advice - I feel great and my pain isn’t unbearable. I’m gaining confidence in myself lifting, have appreciated all the advice, and more so - I have used it and have been feeling and seeing results. Thank you to those who have helped, know your advice is being considered and used and not put to waste!

I do apologize for the low grade photos, as I am just a gal with an iPhone and not a photo studio. I do, however, find it peculiar that this has turned into a beauty pageant in Apoklyps’ eyes, but frankly who cares?

I don’t think it is really your thread, there have just been quite few wimmenz posts that have not been in the ‘spirit’ of this forum. But really I have yet to see any actual bikini or FA girls come over to post the pics in here in long while. TN’s old FA site is gone, and well I won’t mention the drama that happened in the other forum. And I do admit your first post had me suspicious and I rolled my eyes and said here we go again. Anyway the sticky is gone too with all the ‘rules’ so meh.

Then again I’m biased as I’ve been trying to train through pain myself, so it’s good to hear that your getting feedback that has helped you. It’s really touch & go trying to balance what you want to do, what you should do & what your body won’t about kill you with
Keep up the good work. Maybe start a log too?

Ha the sticky has made a come back I see!
