Done by Michael Belk at a bodyweight of 275 in a drug tested competition. I believe this was later in the day after a normal bench competition.
Hard to tell how locked out the reps are, but it looks better than that bodybuilder from awhile back doing 225x46 or whatever.

I can do 59 reps…with the bar, maybe.
59 reps of anything is hard enough, let alone, with 225. very impressive.
Can you imagine the burn from that? That must of been the most painful 59th rep ever done.

Actually there is no drug testing in Mr. Olympia or other pro bodybuilding competitions, except for diuretics sometimes.

He may have a pretty wide grip, reducing ROM, he still takes more than 90% of his available ROM on each rep.

No, this is real drug testing, and this guy has been tested many times by different organizations. I believe the USAPL testing is close to if not following WADA guidelines. Many people have been caught by the tests he has passed. Is he drug free? I have no clue, but he has passed many legitimate drug tests.

Jeremy Hoonstra, competed at the NERB, and set a world record for bench raw. He can do 225x65. Insane lol.
I should also point out that the 59 reps did not win the contest. Bill Gillespie (a SHW) did 60 after Michael did his 59.
