Freaking epic OP! Did you find it hard to get time to lift in college? I’m going for Industrial Physics right now and I barely have time to eat and sleep…??

I was about to post a picture of my 21" but then I saw the pic and realized this was an arm thread.

to these question i always ask, do you watch tv at all? i don’t even own one…theres your answer. I actually worked a 40 hour week, took night classes, and still maintained my condition all the way through. I paid my way through college working full time, two bachelor degrees and an MBA…trust me you have plenty of time. To this day i work a 60 hour week, go to the gym 4-6 times per week, and read an average of one novel or good nonfiction piece per week. Time is not the issue, priorities are the issue.

I LOVE that post. Seriously. My girlfriend’s mom stopped going to the gym after a few months and sort of patronizingly said to my gf “oooh dear…I don’t have time anymore for the gym…maybe in a while”. I’m thinking of all the reality shows she says she watches on TV, and the relative little amount she works (she works 12 hour shifts over 3 days/week). I made eye contact with my gf after she said that and it was clear she didn’t want me to say anything so I let it drop. I’m working 40 hours/week, working on a master’s full time, study, see my gf 3-4x/week, and still easily have enough time to hit the gym 4 times each week. How much TV do I watch? Nada.

andddd enough time to go on T-Nation.
Dude this place is WAY better than TV.

Well said. I currently work 40 hours per week but have worked up to three jobs in the past and still made it to the gym at least 5 days a week.

The majority of the people claiming they don’t have time are lying to themselves. They just don’t want it bad enough.
It’s things like this that I respect so much. Oh, yes I am new

It’s damn inspirational for me to see guys with 21" arms

Fatty bows head to morepain. Awesome job!

Fatty scratches his head about thread derails committed by envious small-minded persons and wonders why quite intelligent posters (and accomplished bodybuilders, at that) even bother to respond to that.

Signed,
Fatty (a computer scientist and pariah among his nerdy brethren since he was once caught ingesting the proteinz).

How big are yours in that pic?

wink, wink

Too small to be mentioned in this thread >_>

Fatty takin’ a page or three out of NeelyDan’s playbook! Excellent adaptation.

Fatty should probably give NeelyDan a shout out to keep from infringing on his copyrighted material. Neely wouldn’t like that too much.

you guys get those guns doing kickbacks and 21’s right?

Aragorn, Fatty doesn’t know who NeelyDan is.

bonerjams98,
I’m not morepain (obviously), but heavy bb curls had been a staple exercise for building my arms in the first place. I’ve also done my fair share of frequent and heavy pressing, of course. But since my tris suck, that should be taken as evidence that big guns need (lots of) direct work.

Rofl. I’m not surprised. He is usually found in the SAMA forum with an occasional side order of GAL, but he talks just like you! swearz.

Nice work morepain!

This thread looked promising at first.

I’ve only 4 more inches to go…see you in 20 years LOL

DUDE you look like a beast! Great work

I can’t help but notice that pics of your shirt busting 20" lean arms are conspicuosly missing from your reply!

MP, You look awesome brother and I couldn’t agree more with you, time is the answer. Dedication and consistency is the key, I believe.
PS, looking at your torso pic makes me wanna put on a big baggy sweathirt and hide.
I’m not in bad shape either, but I’m only at 19" and VERY jealous, LOL.
5’6" tall @ 220

Morepain. I’ve seen your profile pics before. You’re pretty big. Congrats on the 21" arms, especially considering how busy your life is.

I waded through 8 pages of this to see that there are maybe 4 people here with 21 inch arms? Good dedication guys. That’s impressive. I’m not sure why people clutter these threads with negative comments. Just don’t post.

Jealousy is a bitch

Be proud you’re in an elite group! Don’t seem to be a whole lotta guys posting along with ya, LOL. Gimme some time, I’m working on it, I’m only 48 and still got a few “growing” years in me.
